Thankz for your clear and précised explanation about the usage of partograph, though it's is the first time I try to use Partograph your clarification has helped me a lot to hugely understand the usage of it.
Good afternoon sir.... after how many hours are we supposed to measure the descent exactly... otherwise you are helping us very much... may God bless you
Very helpful, thank you so much. I have a question,in our example we opened our partograph at 6cm and time 13 hours. If dilatation is 4 hourly doesn't that mean the next time we're checking for dilatation is at 17 hours?
A very good presentation, pls, I need clarification about the + added to parity,Is it to indicate occurrence or non occurrence of abortions or to indication presence of this recent pregnancy.Thank you sir.
I think to the parity you count number of alive children which includes the unborn baby because the baby is still alive and sometimes you may found out that the woman is Gravida 6 but when you ask for parity you discover that maybe one child died, you can still record as follows; Gravida: 6 + the recurrent pregnancy =7 and Parity: 5 alive (-1 dead) /+1 who is unborn but still alive.
I disagree…the first digits chose the number of children which has reach viability (24wks of gestation) and the second digits indicate the number of fetus which have not reach viability…when ur gravida 4 you will plot in partograph 3+0
