I wanted that fabric that is glued to the text block binding that glues the pages together, I bot "book cloth " one side is paper. Did I buy the wrong thing ?
I think you bought the right thing. Book cloth is generally glued to book board first then the book block is added. Otherwise you could create a soft cover with thick fabric, leather or Kraft-Tex.
