That is good information for the beginners to know, and I have most of that information already since my tractors have those features. I love the quick hitches that is sold to make hooking up implements an easy job. I have one on each of my two tractors and love them so much. The only problem is working with equipment which is not quick hitch compatible like my box blade and my turning plow. That is a job getting it hooked up, but it can be done. Thanks so much for the video and I hope you have a nice Blessed week.
Thanks, quick hitches make things a lot easier. It is a pain to deal with an implement that is not QH compatible after getting used to a quick htich. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! I hope you have a good week too!
GREAT VIDEO. I'm a city boy gone country upon retirement and have a BX2350 and now know what all those thingamajigs on my rear end are called! LOL Now I can actually start to research stuff! THANKS! P.SP I'M SUBSCRIBING
Thanks, I am glad the video helped you. Thanks for the sub. Check out the other videos on my channel. I have several about the BX. I highly recommend the racor filter upgrade.
As usual a well done video young man !!! I really appreciate you taking the time and energy to share with us! Be safe and God bless you and your family !!!!!! PS ! When moving the direction foot control on your BX to neutral from forward or reverse , does it stop abruptly ? Or does it move a short distance before coming to a stop ? I apologise for being off subject. !! Mine stops very quickly! Keep up the great work!
Thanks. Do you have a BX25D? There is an adjustment on the return spring. I think at full throttle full speed in high range the tractor is supposed to stop in 8.'
I have a 2005 B7800 Kubota..I recently purchased a hydraulic 3 point log splitter for it. The lift arms of the 3 point won't drop far enough to the ground to attach to the splitter..in writing the splitter company asking why the splitter was built so low to the ground (I sent pics of my tractor) their answer was " the design is meant for adjustable lift arms. From the picture your tractor does not have adjustable lift arms." Is there adjustable lift arms that allow both sides of the arms to drop lower to the ground? My tractor just has one adjustment on the right side that I had thought was just for equalizing the arms to each other...good video, btw!! thanks!
No, the tractor in the video does not have adjustable lift arms. Is the splitter quick hitch compatible? If it is a quick hitch makes the lift arms 4'' longer, so the splitter may touch the ground. If it is not quick hitch compatible, you could get something like Pats Easy Change. Then of course, you could extend the legs on the splitter.
Thank you for this video. I fled the city after 2020 and recently bought a tractor and have no idea how this thing works. Excellent video. Thanks again.
Great video. I wish I watched it before I practically destroyed my tractor. I do have a question though. Your comment about not enough lift power is the problem I have been having. Every time I back up on uneven ground I jam the tiller. I even got stuck yesterday because I drove up on a pile of wood chips because I could not back up. I even tried running the tiller and all I did was make a bigger hole..Boy did and do I feel stupid. .I had to manually pry my tractor up and slide blocks under it to be able to back it up to get unstuck. My question is ... Can you use maybe another adjustable lift bar, instead of just one to keep the tiller higher??? . The stationary bar is so much longer. I tried every adjustment on it and I was beginning to think I was dyslexic. It is i,possible to back up with my tiller on...I am not real mechanically inclined.
Thanks! To raise your tiller higher, you can shorten your top link. Is you tiller quick hitch compatible? If it is get a quick hitch. You will be able to drop the tiller in seconds, then you still need to unhook the shaft. You will need to make sure the PTO shaft is long enough to use with a quick hitch. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9SqlcrWreKY.html
