Indian is democratic country but last nizam til death have a lot of respect and give hug donations 5000kg gold to indian army fund in 1967 at the time of death he was richest man of country

That was then but that level of poverty simply doesn't exist now. Sure there is a huge divide between the filthy rich and poor but you don't have starvation levels of poverty. India today is one of if not the largest producers of rice, wheat, milk, vegetables and even meat in the world.

Apparently Nizam VI's successor was a skinflint despite his fabulous wealth, even saving his guests' cigarette butts to be smoked another day (don't know how true it was).
