Dear Traditional Life Family,
Valar asked me what to cook for lunch today but I said her wish to make what she likes so she started preparing grams to make paruppu kuzhambu for lunch. After she prepared lunch Valar and Naviish was in rest without having their lunch to eat with me. After I arrived we had lunch together and I gave urundai soru with urundai kuzhambu which Valar enjoys having it. In the evening after feeding food to our cow me and Naviish was on the cart, surprisingly she also made Vadai with the same paruppu urundai which was very crispy and tasty and firstly Naviish said he don’t want vadai and after getting the sound while I was eating he asked for it and he too enjoyed it, finally we are happy to share this beautiful day with you

அந்தத் திண்டில் இருந்த விளக்கு போல் என் பாட்டி வீட்டிலும் மூன்று விளக்குகளும், புன்னைக் கெண்ணெய் ஊற்றி ஏற்றும் லட்சுமி விளக்குகள் நான்கும் இருந்தன. இந்த சமையலறை, மற்றும், திண்ணைகள், முற்றம், ஆட்டுக்கல், மாவு திரிக்கும் திரியல் மாடு எல்லாம் சுமார் 65 வருடங்களுக்கு முன் அனுபவித்ததை எல்லாம் மீண்டும் நினைவுக்குக் கொண்டு வந்து விட்டது. அம்மிக்கல் மட்டும் எங்கள் ஊர்ப்பக்கம் சற்று பெரிதாக இருக்கும். தேங்காய் அதிகம் அரைப்பார்கள். இப்போது என் வீட்டிலும் அம்மி, ஆட்டுக்கல், திரியல் எல்லாமே வைத்திருக்கிறேன். ஆனால் இப்போது அதை யாரும் உபயோகிப்பதில்லை. இந்த வாழ்க்கை மிகவும் பிடிக்கும். எல்லாவற்றையும் விட அன்பான உணவு பரிமாறும் விதம் இன்னும் இருக்கிறதை நினைத்துப் பெருமைப்படுகிறேன். எனது ஒரு தங்கை, இப்போது வந்தாலும் இப்படி உருண்டை சோறு கேட்பாள். அவளுக்கும் 64 வயதான பிறகும் பழைய நினைவுகளும், பாசமும் துளி கூட குறையாமல் இருக்கிறாள். இப்படி வாழ்வதால் தான் தமிழ் மக்கள் எங்கு சென்றாலும், தன் உறவுகளை மறக்க இயலாமல் அவ்வப்போது வந்து, போய்க் கொண்டு, நமது உறவுகளைப் புதுப்பித்து, பண்பாடு மறக்காமல் வாழ்கிறோம். உங்களுக்கு வாழ்த்துக்கள். பாராட்டுக்களும் கூட.

I love your videos. The cooking is very exotic to me and it seems delicious. I would like to try your recipes but there are some that are difficult for me to follow. I would like, if it is not too much work for you, to write the list of ingredients in the order you use them under the video. Sorry for asking this. I also want to say that all the videos are very professionally filmed, I enjoy the music on the back, and the sound, showing everything you do, is also very professional. Dear Traditional Life Channel - I stumbled upon your channel a few days ago and have been hooked to it ever since. It amazes me to see how your wife Valar has a serene loving face through all the grinding, pounding, cooking she does for your family while your love, respect and care towards her is equally adorable to watch. One question though, in this day and age when digital devices and electronics prevail the world - good example is your channel, you chose to use modern technology such as internet and likely cell phone camera to record your videos. Why are you not using appliances like blender for cooking purposes to make Valar's life a little easier? I know that would defeat the purpose of this channel but would you never use electrical appliances in your house in the future? Your neighbors in this village are also as traditional as you are? I ask these questions out of curiosity and nothing else. Thank you for sharing your life with the digital audience 🙏!

We make those masala dal vadas but not curry..this was something new i had seen.. your videos remind me of my childhood when we used to visit our village for Summer vacation! Had so much fun! I love village life..so calm yet beautiful! 😀
