The irony is no one, who is a tourist, will dare to take out a thread to burn to get the smell or to watch how it burns from a 50k shawl. That too in Tangmarg where every other person is forcing to sell something or the other. In my opinion the best option is to visit the Jammu & Kashmir government's handlooms store or the weavers if someone is really passionate about original pashmina.

If we talk about pure authentic Pashmina shawl that is only GI labeled which is tested by Craft Development Institute Bagh Ali mardan Khan. That is the only Othenticty of pure shawl. What do you mean by 20% of Pashmina shawl and rest of the percentage other wool. If we talk about pure pashmina shawls 20% that is 2500 so how come it is 700 you are talking about. It's humble request to you guys sell your products by giving it's real names not on the %age of pashmina if it is jacaat Or rabit wool or any other item like Amratsar shawl just give the proper name so that the Customer will not get cheated.
