I never used to watch this, it didn't appeal to me at the time. But watching it now, it's a nice little show. Couple of things which struck me; Firstly, that I can't work out the system for which spot the other players have to proceed to after an elimination. At first, it seemed as though everyone to their left of that person moved over to their right. But then it gets a bit muddy, later on. The marks stop aligning to that system for some players. It's not a big deal, but it puzzles me. They are obviously briefed beforehand on where to move, but I can't work it out and it bothers me that I can't. Anyway, secondly, the prize options throw up an interesting dilemma. Having two TV's on offer poses the tricky question of whether to go for the big super-duper widescreen jobbie, or the humble portable AND an N64. For me, it's a no-brainer. It's gotta be the N64 and the portable. Yes, the widescreen set is superior in spec. But a telly's a telly. For me, it'd be a nice 14 inch set plus an N64 all day long. I can sort of see the appeal which attracted to winner to pick the widescreen model, but to me it's a clear option of just a telly versus a telly and a Nintendo.
