Congratulations! Did you find CRISC and CISM similar in some of the domains? Which one do you think is more challenging and why? If you plan on getting both, I would do the CISM first. Risk Management is one of the CISM domains and it's 20% of the exam, so there's definitely overlap with CRISC. That said, CRISC is a little harder in my opinion. It's not as popular either, so there's not much study material out there compared to what you'll find for the CISM.
Not that I remember. They shipped me a blanket for my bachelor's (I never opened it), but from what I've seen in other videos, I think the success kit was something different.
I already work in cybersecurity so I'm not actively looking for another job. For me (at least right now), it's more about learning something new and validating what I already know.
Love the journey and I’ve been following it for a while. Quick question if I’m required to have 4 credit hours for a certain course but the Sophia alternative is only 3 credits does that mean it won’t transfer?
It won't matter. WGU and Sophia weigh the courses differently in terms of the number credits they give, but that won't affect if WGU will accept them. Every school is different, so the Sophia course might be worth 3 credits to one school, but for a different school it could be worth 4.
As long as a I pass and the certification is relevant to what I do at my job, my employer will reimburse me... although a couple of the certifications I got this year came from my bachelors degree. The cost of those were included in my tuition.
