This helped me install a random seat I got from ebay on my 2016 iron

Put a piece of rubber between new back seat bracket and rear mudguard, will save damage, just done mine today.

Hi, I got the almost exact rear seat for my 2019 iron 883! But it seems that the original screw is too short to bolt down the rear seat metal part. Did you not have this problem? I am thinking of running down to a hardware shop and get a longer bolt after 20 mins of attempts.
