Unfortunately, that sickening thud is pretty accurate. Despite the size of a locomotive and the noise it makes, anything you hit resonates pretty well throughout the cab. It's a sound you never, ever forget...
Trains always have the right of way. Remember check both ways twice to see if a train is approaching, never assume tracks are abandoned, they can always be in use...
It may be just a game but it's very accurate of how train engineer's life looks like but also it is also a warning for all of those people who doesn't pay attention on surroundings.
trains always have the right of way, even over emergency vehicles (police, fire, ems, etc...). it takes the average train over a mile to stop. look, listen, and live. don't drive around gates that are lowered with lights flashing. a few seconds being stopped could save your life. don't walk on or near the railroad right of way, objects possibly thrown up by the train can go as far as 50 feet. if you must cross tracks, look both ways. always expect a second train if the crossing has more than one set of tracks.
@Knoxville District Railfan So sad... I miss him... at least he got his dream car. I can't even watch Michael anymore though. I feel like even Grandpa would be rolling over in his grave if he knew the crap content he puts out now.
Some people pay no attention to the bells and the lights, and always think that they have time to get across before a train, sometimes they are listening to loud music through headphones, sometimes too distracted in texting. The message is clear, Pay attention to the bells and lights (Or if you're in the UK, the siren). Rest In Pieces.
This video right here could demonstrate the dangers of distraction at a railroad crossing, also this video could save life's and convince others to be rail safe! #operationlifesaver
Damn it another great work, bro you make the accidents look so realistic also that the person cuts into pieces is very realistic👌🏻 you do your job really good go on so✌🏻
@@KaaimanProductions what? If you have a problem with realistics than go to your doctor and get some help...I mean it’s the truth an people that get hit by train are mostly look like this so he done his job well and I think that some people think more about how to cross train tracks. I don’t understand your problem man
tom kat LA Metro sucks. Stations are clean, but the people you meet. An entire train can stink because of one person. You'll find people with their dongs out, old stains, crack heads, literal human excrement, and people just staring at you for no reason. Riding NJ Transit sounds like a dream
My goodness! You always make these so realistic, I don't know how you do it... How come you don't make these routes publicly available for us to buy? These look so great!
A situation almost creepily similar to this one actually occurred in my country a few months ago. Different train of course but most other factors were the same.
Just sad this. My father knows an (former) train engineer who had experienced a case of suicide in the Netherlands. That was 23 years ago. He is now 59. Still can’t get the pictures out of his head. NEVER walk on the tracks and always look both ways when crossing. And never commit suicide. Just because your life is sad doesn’t mean that someone else’s had to be
Another tragedy that could've been avoided...This is why you NEVER stand on RR tracks, especially wearing headsets not able to hear what's going on around you! Learn from this experience!!
This again shows how dangerous it is to be playing near tracks and why everyone needs to be cautious when crossing train tracks. Even if they’re not used on a daily basis.
I almost was run over by a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train near my home, along the main line between Harrisburg and Philadelphia, PA. I was about 11 or 12 years old. I was fishing with some neighborhood buddies in South Harrisburg, PA. On our way home we were walking on the rails (there were 4 sets of tracks). On track #4 (next to the river) was a slow moving freight train. We were walking on track #3 going home after fishing. I was trailing my buddies, and just walking not a worry in the world. I was looking behind me once in a while because I know the passenger trains coming in from Philly run about 75 mph at our location. I was watching the ties making sure I didn't misstep. I looked up and my buddies were all running off the tracks, I instantly looked behind me and all I could see was the engine of a PRR passenger train bearing down on me. His headlight was so bright and moving fast in my direction. I sprinted off the tracks towards tracks #2 and #1, and before I could have taken more than 4 or 5 steps, that passenger train zipped past me with its whistle blowing. I don't recall hearing the whistle before that. Maybe the noise of the slow moving freight train on track #4 next to me (going east while the passenger train was going west) dampened the oncoming train on my #3 track. That happened about 60 years ago (I'm 72 now), and to this day I often think of how lucky I was to have turned around and seen that train approaching me and my buddies. It was a day I'll never forget, and for the sake of the train engineer, I'm so glad I got out of his way.
People need to use their brains like literally like the guy was wearing headphones on the tracks and he was'nt listening to the train horn so this is just out rages and another tip if your wearing headphones on train tracks then your going to end up like that guyand one more last tipif your headphones on the train tracks then take them off and stop, look, and listen these are the three words that might one day save your life. Bye now.
mt father worked as a track maintenance person on the railway in Australia and had to work on crash/derailment site following an train accident which killed a group of people in a car and he was sick for days afterwards of the sight as the victims along with their vehicle were strewn in pieces for a kilometres along the line and the surroundings
The thing about it is the person controlling the train didn't even have one good thought of stopping the train to avoid hitting that person. He was doing 31 he could've easily stopped before he hit him but he didn't stop until after he hit him which in this case I think he did it on purpose but i know I might be wrong but correct me if I am. This is just my opinion on what I think.
Gustavtime is soooo created on his ideas. Im surprise dovetail didn't sign him up on a $1million contract to get him on the spot. I guess he's too good that they don't want him.
Breaking News:A NJ Transit passenger train has struck a man. Today at 9:30 AM, the train was heading along a track to its destination, then at 9:33 AM, the engineer spotted the man in the way, the driver tried blowing the horn, but to no avail, and at 9:35 AM, the train struck the person with full force. EMS with an ambulance and police arrrived at the scene. It is unknown if the man will recover or not.
Breaking news here tonight in NJ transit train has hit a person overnight the person has died as the body part got flown all over the place it happened when the front locomotive had to stop and had to go to the rear end of the train please speculate either went past the station and then had to turn around in the other end of the train but our prayers and hopes go to the family of the boy that died that night .
@gustavtime how are your graphics so good? I cannot get my TS to look anywhere close to the way yours looks, even with all settings maxed out. I have a gtx1080 and a very good cpu, so I am at a loss. Any advice or graphics card settings tips? Thank you!
Who would be that stupid to walk or stand on a railway track with headphones on anyway thats just asking for trouble. I dont have any simpathy for that idiot that got hit i feel more for that poor train driver, was that person on some sort of drugs or something to be silly enough to be listening to his headphones while being on the tracks. Be vigilant when your out and about and listen to whats around you as well as watching where your going.i use my headphones at home only not out in the metropolitan areas, i would rather hear whats going on around me for the sake of my own saftey.
My late father in law told me the first day on the job on the railroad, the instructor told him, you will kill someone at sometime in your career. It took 24 years for my FIL to do it. He relived that moment for years after.
Sometimes people and cars ignore railway crossings and can be bad luck. And a train my notice. but, the train sometimes does not have enough time to stop. if you see tracks think train and pay attention to the lights and bells or if your in the UK, the siren. RIP
What is it with people. That guy lost his life for nothing. An that poor conductor will Have to live with the memory of this for the rest of his life. ✌. OUT
I Used To Live in NJ ( Bergen county ) And I Never Ever Saw any Trains except At The Train Station in Ridgewood Going under the Tracks. I Saw A Couple , Thats it
never wear head phones while waiting for the train you will get hit by a train bird brain I heard about a young lady who was texting and her car got stuck on the tracks at the freight house square
