Moldy chicken meals made several passengers sick Wednesday, forcing a Delta flight from Detroit to Amsterdam to make an emergency landing in New York. For the second day in a row Thursday, Delta has pulled all meals except a pasta dish from the economy cabin on 75 international flights as a precaution. Kris Van Cleave has the latest.

Finish the story!! Who is the caterer? Instead of trashing Delta, name the company responsible: the caterers who provided those meals to the flight!

It seems like most people have never ever seen moldy food! If someone served me that food I would immediately say something and not eat it. It looks hairy like mold. 🙄😑🙄😑🙄😑😷

Food inflation has been very high. Airlines aim at cutting cost. Consequently, they low quality or cheap food which gets rotten in a very short period of time. Airlines should pay for their bad behavior

This is why by law, the pilot and co-pilot cannot eat the same meal. They have to choose all different items just in case there is a food poisoning issue.

Economy meals on flights departing from the US are disgusting, 90% of them (frequent traveler here). This time- moldy. Always slippery chicken or pasta, like beef never existed. Only Swiss Air, Turkish and Iberia served (ordered and paid for) good meals, (beef and even salmon in economy). All others- chicken or pasta.

Oh come on, what's a little mold. When I was younger, all they'd serve the economy passengers was left-over Strip Club fare, from an establishment next to the airport, of room temperature chicken fingers and tater tots, or you'd get fishheads and rice, (with the eyes still in the sockets) and you felt damn lucky to get THAT! Panzies!

A lot of people seem to eat anything they’re given on flights. Their eyes are usually fixed on their phones or other screens and the cabin lighting is rather dim so they probably don’t even look at what they are eating
