Yep i really enjoyed the educational video Mr Wills. I like it when i see traders trade profitably to maximum effect by adding to their winning positions and cutting their losses short.if i could quote the legendary Trader Charlie D from memory, ''The time you know you've become a good trader is that first day you were able to win by holding and adding to a winning position. There are many traders who have traded for a long time and who have never added to a winning position .'' Props to you Mr Wills for explaining one of the components of successful trading.
Super easy with bigger lot sizes and catching a trend especially with your SL in your tp zone. One time I even passed it for a friend by getting bearish trend and got 27.5% over the 100k target profit on a 3.00 lot size. Point of story is if you aren't relying on this ftmo account and using your rent money the risk feels different and anyone can pass it just don't overthink it
And all honesty, As much as I want to critique your lot-size usage. I’m experienced enough to know that trading is no one trick pony. It takes patience and the ability to adapt to the ever changing markets. People like you and LamboRaul are killing it……..Congrats bro.
Yes that is what i think mostly youtubers do like this and i am feeling bad for the begginers getting motivated from them like passing it in 1 hour and then those newbies try it and boooom account blown and many of youtubers use demo account, recently i saw a guy taking 200 lots on 200k ftmo challange like wtfff is he doing like it is not even scalping it is gambling one spike and account is gone
it is actually far easier to trade when fully capitalized - trading will completely rewire the way your brain relates to money if you do it long enough - 5 years in now trading full time and it really only truly clicked after year 3 for me
@@furiousnite7247 You really can't say how big of a risk he's taking with a 10 lot unless you know how many pips he's risking. Although if the one trade made him pass the challenge and his r:r on that trade was 1:4 he'd have to risk 2.5% for that 4 times reward to be 10%. Which in that case is too much imo. But ya lots alone tell you nothing really.
These don't help traders, rather they push traders to make poor decisions or at the least the don't following their plan so they can attempt to put up numbers similar comments in your video.
your risk explanation about adding to your trade is floored. Makes no difference if you add it to this trade or opened a seperate trade the risk is exactly the same.
Hey friend. can you ask a question please? i want to trade with the $10 000 account. i would like to know the maximum lot i can use in the ftmo on this account. (my maximum stop loss will be 15pips)
10,000 / 100 = $100, this is your available risk per trade at 1%. 100 / 15 = $6.5 available per pip. 6.5 / 10 = 0.65 lots. This is assuming you are trading a pair ending in USD. If you are trading a pair not ending in usd then you have to look up the value of one pip on that pair in usd and divide your available risk per pip ($6.5) by the value in usd of one pip on that pair.
Great stuff mate are you English ? It’s hard to find RU-vidrs who are making these videos and are English hehe erm when you withdraw do you have to pay taxes? I am new and using IG platform where they have spread betting so it’s classed as gambling so no taxes. Are these funded accounts spread betting or investing ?
People don’t take any advice from here. It takes 30 calendar days to pass FTMO challenge. They need a data and record of how you trade. Stop over trading and quit listening to nonsense
@@willssforex I don’t get the message your sending across. It takes 30 calendar days to assess your risk management for trades. It’s not about luck. Anybody can get lucky too
Nice, but I thought one of the rules was you have to pass everything within 5 total days, or now you can win everything in 1 trade?? lol whats going on??
Example if I passed the 10k challenge and I’ve been funded with 10k so my maximum daily loss 5% which is 500 So if I’ve grown my account from 10k to 12k in a couple of days so then the maximum daily loss value will be resets as 5% of 12k ?
Hy dude I am 19 and have been trading for some months, but i loose my 500$ all in forex and i am very down now and thinking should i continue or not, have you also faced this in your starting career?
Continué , DONT just give up with the first loses , I lost the opportunity to make over 500k by making mistakes of selling early or not buying on time but I make some money too , use everything as an experience and learn from your mistake !!
How much is that 2.8 Mil ? What leverage must he have used if risking 2% ( 2000 usdt) ? Maybe I am wrong somewhere but I don`t understand how this calculation adds up.
Passing mine this Week but im doing auto with Some EA i have. i need 300$ for end phase One lets goo bro , nice to see ur Bigg lots. Im trading starting 0.12 xD lool
