I think that's Madden trying to simulate Tannehill's inaccuracy.

The part at the end when you thought it was your time then you got an under pressure inaccurate. I completely felt that

This how I like to play Madden...your channel is gr8 glad to see somebody not focusing on 1 play tds or how to glitch out the defense...I think every stock play works if you can understand how the play attacks the coverage...again gr8 videos

Could you do a video on running concepts and when and why to use each? Specifically inside the tackles ie.inside zone vs power vs trap. Also maybe this goes along with it identifying defensive fronts and which runs to check to based on the defensive fronts alignment
@XandoFootball

I haven't played in a while but that is exactly how you can dominate in the running game. Using the right runs against particular fronts. With all of the audibles you can check into with Madden, you actually are awarded more opportunities at exploiting defensive fronts as opposed to live . . . at least in my opinion.

I truly believe that the dagger concept is unguardable. It kills pretty much every coverage in madden, and when you sprinkle in other concepts as complimentary pieces to the dagger, the offense would be dangerous
@kghostthegreat
@kghostthegreat Год назад
Contrary to popular belief I believe cover 2 guards that quote well in theory. As long as the safety takes the streak the dig can be passed off along the underneath zones that will sit at around 10 or yards back. Now if it’s a 25 yard dig then yeah, otherwise it can be guarded
@treynoname2894
@treynoname2894 Год назад
@@kghostthegreat the middle read linebacker is responsible for carrying vertical routes up the seam until he passes it off to the safety, the dig will be coming in the vacant window while there is a drag route coming across the field to put a high low stretch on the underneath defenders. The safety has to respect the vertically of the dig so he would have to split the offensive players, making the middle lb have to choose between being aggressive on the dig in which case the throw the seam route is open, if he respects the seam and passes it off to the safety it's a high low stretch underneath
@treynoname2894
@treynoname2894 Год назад
@@kghostthegreat normally the dig routes cut at about 15-20 yards, so the hook defenders at naturally at a disadvantage and if they commit underneath it's an even bigger window
@treynoname2894
@treynoname2894 Год назад
@@kghostthegreat ultimately it's a universal coverage beater with routes that work against man and zone. I implement it all of the time because it's such a good concept

Dagger is pretty nasty. 1 con to it though is it takes a little time to develop. Might be an issue running it against a ferocious pass rushing front. Cover 1 with a rat in the hole may fair pretty well. You are right though - mastering the concept can be deadly for an offense.

I don’t know if you have already, but if you could you should make an in-depth analysis of different versions of cover 4. Personally I know the rules for quarters against 2x2 (spread and compressed or pressed vs off coverage) and 3x1 (with or without a flexed in tight end) as well as empty sets, same goes for Palms. But the when watching a video on Nick Sabens many different match rules for different route distributions I realized there is no way you can create a coverage call equivalent to those in Madden 22 without making a mass amount of adjustments. If you could find any way to make those different match rules it would be great for players who run a match based defensive s

There are so many bro. You should look up - match quarters STEAL - on google. Think about the offensive concept -FLOOD-. Where you try to flood the defense with routes on 3 different levels. . . . overloading the defense. Well -STEAL- coverage is a way the defense can flood the offense . . . which is a very cool concept. Essentially , you are stealing the backside safety and using him for the front side. He reads the number 2 frontside for a vertical route inside and cuts the route. It was designed to counter Air Raid concepts like Y Cross and Y corner. The closest you can get to that coverage in madden is playing cover 9 with a few adjustments. I was going to drop more stuff on that this year . . . but I had to let it go due to the amount of time it was taking away from my daily tasks. There are so many though. There is a coverage titled -READ- that I recently read about as well. The well runs deep with double high safety coverages. You could design your own by thinking about rules you can implement to solve a problem the defense is presenting you. Then draw up route combinations an offense throws at you while utilizing the rules you've made up and see how it would interact. Obviously - - - you can't be too creative in Madden . . . but I hope you see what I'm saying. 1 - Mod Quarters {Madden Quarters Match} 2 - Palms {Madden Palms Match} 3 - Stubbie {How Madden Palms Match plays against Trips} 4 - Stump {Madden doesn't have this. This is a type of Match coverage that can play against Trips} 5 - Stress {Madden doesn't have this. This is a type of Match coverage that can play against Trips. It's designed to force the offense to have to take the least percentage throw to the outside among other things.} 6 - Steal 7 - Read < No this is not palms. This is something I read about bracketing the number 2 against certain formations. The list goes on. All of these I'd put under the cover 4 tree. But the well runs deep in football. There are other variants I would encourage people to investigate. There is a reason why 2 man in madden is almost never played. It's because there are no variants to it . . . which weakens it. In real life, there are plenty ways to play 2 man in different ways. Cover 5 cougar. Cover 5 bracket stuff. Most interesting . . . is something I read up on called - >Cover black

Yo Xando can you do a video on pass pro and the proper way to slide protect and id the Mike. I know madden don’t have it coded right, but how would a qb or center tell the line what to do in real life when they going against a 4-2, 4-3, 3-3, 3-4, etc front. And as always, thank you for the great in depth content bro.

I know I'm reaching back far so if you don't remember it's all good lol. What's the best defense to run the jet sweep and/or the touch pass fake jet sweep against? Single High or Double high? or Cover 0? I like the 3 play schemes that you present identify in the different formations and I want to add them to my gameplans. Thank you for your info.
@XandoFootball
@XandoFootball Год назад
Your comment fell through the cracks. I'm sorry about this. A lot of jet sweeps work good against cover 0 from what I've noticed. It depends on the formation you're running it out of though and sometimes, you have to make sure that their isn't a second level defender tucked outside of the box on the playside of the run. That's more so in generalizations though because each play with different formations can be different. See how your particular formation interacts with zero.

How do you defend this concept?
@XandoFootball
@XandoFootball Год назад
It's really designed to attack single high from what I've gathered. If you're in single High, a team would like their chances in running this concept. But, if the safety and the corner switch off correctly, you can properly defend it with leverage. Madden does not have that type of switch coded in with cover 3.
