If Darwin finished those chances Trent would have like so many assists. He needs someone like Son, Haaland or Lewandowski a clinical ice cold finisher but here we are stuck with Darwin and his frustrating finishing.

He's not getting better in defence which is alarming given his young age reaching his peak. Infact his pace is becoming slower and his passing range is not that necessary all the time anymore as we are buying better technical midfielders to play more elite and expansive short passes between midfield and attack. Trent is still good for the long ball attack and a great weapon for last minute ball to win the game or counter attacking play when we have won the game to give a higher cushion goal tally. But in a first team play he is slowly becoming a legacy counter attacking player of our struggling era to be top tier club. We are now more like trying to be peak barca and man city. Hell even Arsenal is playing short passes which is a better form of attack long term because it is less injury prone and easier to connect. His long passes although accurate has a powerful swerve to it which is harder to connect now that we play higher up the field and more congested. Long passes also give more time for opposing defenders to intercept or worse clatter into players increasing higher injury risk. I think he knows he's not that effective anymore in a new system with better technical players hence trying to force klopp to make him a CM. All these recent videos to drum him up is not helping the team. He needs to work on his midfield nous and awareness which he is lacking instead of always trying hollywood passes or long range goals. Let the mifielders do their jobs and improve on your defence. Stop all these inverting shit and dislodge the whole balance of the team causing szobo to tire and confuse. AMs are not suppose to track back all the time into the abyss right area left behind by a tortoise. Sometimes its better to know your weakness and work on it than make the team cover for you for your self glory at the expense of overall balance and better chance of clear cut attack.
