Is this price for the house only or the house and property? That house is probably built out of better quality lumber than you can buy today. The lumber at Home Depot or Lowes is what my grandfather would refer to as garbage lumber. He grew up in the lumber and carpentry industry.
Yeah I completely agree with you about the materials. It seems everything has downgraded as opposed to what it used to be. If you watch the full length video on my channel, you'll see other houses that I was able to explore. It's just so rotted that most of it is useless. Which is honestly a shame. I mentioned in another video that I am a big fan of the older wood they used to use. But decades of disrepair and infestations kind of claimed everything. Really hope you check out some other stuff and stick around
