The system is built into a trap. What they are doing should be illegal! I bet they taken so many of hard earned dollars from small business just because they weren't able to hire actually a good accountant. How do you even know which accountant is good?

Mark is the only person IN THE WORLD that can make this not just interesting but entertaining. I am trying to get all my friends and family to get a personal/family trust 😂.

Excellent content! I worked for an Atty with an LLM through law school, but that’s been 5+ years ago. Meanwhile, this year I inherited some money, to which I have started a small online business, all while trading cryptocurrency. I’m speechless! This is EXACTLY what I needed to re-channel a taxable mindset. I’ve listened three consecutive times, however I expect to review this gem as long as you and your team continue slinging these seriously brilliant nuances. My goodness! Thank you so much! Are y’all taking new clients? Do you require new clients to be counseled by your associates a whole tax year before taking on everything? Or are y’all available for consulting by the hour, to review P&L / balance sheets once 4th qtr bookkeeping is reconciled? I know when my son starts school next week, my first order of business will be filing articles with the SOS to incorporate an LLC.

As someone who's just started doing taxes on my crypto holdings (going ten years back and including thousands of trades) I've found myself desperate for guidance and good advice for minimizing CGT. I've used aggressive loss harvesting, to seemingly great effect (according to various online tax calculators), and yet you are the first qualified RU-vidr I've heard talk about it. Regardless I will likely be facing a significant tax burden as a result of not educating myself on these things sooner; my high-priced CPA firm seems all but clueless when it comes to cryptocurrency. I think your examples and explanations are absolutely great! I really just want to say THANK YOU for helping me to understand all the things I wish I'd known sooner! You've earned my subscription and don't be surprised if you see me asking you questions directly in the near future.

I am retired but still have an Rental equipment S-Corp. I use the management services of another company which I also own with other share holders to run and operate my Rental S-Corp. I don’t take any w2, but take disbursements from the S-Corp as K1 disbursements. is this correct?

Hmm, so if I'm flipping and renting, I'm guessing I need to separate those two activities and put the flipping in an S-Corp LLC, or does flipping not qualify for any passive income (both in OK)?

@Mark Question on VETERAN property tax exclusion: In CA Disabled Veteran Prop. Tax can be a large exclusion $200K+ , Do I still keep the exclusion if the Trust owns the property? What about if my LLC owns the property?

Hi, Can you help people from all over the US or just where your business is licensed?

Dividends are the true passive income here, all of the others are less than passive and all of the others require some form of work where as dividend stocks require you to only buy a stock and wait.

I will die on this hill...staking is interest income not subject to self employment.

That explains why I didn't start crypto staking, I couldn't explain why but my instincts was telling me to wait a bit.

2 Questions; 1. At what net worth should someone start to consider this strategy? 2. If I hold stocks that issue a K1 in the same brokerage account as ordinary dividend does that pose any issues being in the same LLC?

Would be curious to understand how the loss harvesting and then turning around and buying the same stock is not subject to wash sale.
