Dennis invites you into his home as he conducts a virtual Passover Seder (recorded April 2020).
Watch and learn as Dennis explains the meaning of the rituals, but if you want to participate along with Dennis, you’ll need the standard Passover accoutrements (one per person in your household):
1) Matzo
2) Salt water
3) Parsley
4) A hard-boiled egg
5) Horseradish
6) Charoset - a mix of nuts, raisins, and honey
7) Haggadah
Enjoy!

I’m an Assyrian Christian from the Middle East. Thanks for making this video Dennis and for sharing Passover with all of us. Our church had this ceremony yesterday and it was a blessing. I’ve always wanted to visit Israel and I hope I can do that soon. God bless you Dennis and pragerU.

@Jobania why knowledge wouldn't be resourceful? Judaism isn't about converting at all.

@Jobania in fact that's exactly what I mentioned. As a matter of fact christianity should know a lot more about the first monotheism that remains even after it's enemies did. But maybe you suggest to ignore the truth....

Thank you Dennis. this was so special. I enjoyed it immensely. The Dr. is a neat person. Im learning to really appreciate the Jewish faith. There's a lot of common sense, practicality, and just plain fun involved. The kids are truly involved, not just in the peripheral sense, but in such a way, the family's elders can return to their youth for a time, and all can enjoy each others company. Often times we have to force the family together, for their own good! Ive been to my first Seder!! I loved it. Thank you both.

Dennis, you should keep doing these Seder livestreams even after the virus becomes endemic (and I think we're getting close.) I'm a Christian but I enjoy them because it gives me more understanding of how it's done. I believe that it's a duty of us Christians to understand Judaism in order to understand the historical context and background of our own faith because Judaism is where it ultimately comes from. (I don't think we have to keep the Law of Moses, just know about it--especially because the Last Supper was a Passover meal.) I don't think most people, Christian, Jewish or otherwise, realize just what a huge debt we all owe to both Jews and Judaism.

Are you 100% sure that if you died today you would go to heaven? Do you know Jesus Christ? I am convinced that most people who call themselves "Christian" know religion instead of Jesus Christ. Or they have created their own God in their head. That is why we must make sure that we know the God of the bible and know that we are truly saved. Lay religion, Christian culture, and even politics aside. Someone who truly loves you is reaching out to you not willing that you should perish (2 Peter3), but that you be saved from the price of your sins. With that said, how do you deal with your sin? Yes you. How many times have you lied, lusted, or stolen? I'm guilty, what about you? I hope you feel convicted. But if you're going to reject the free gift of salvation, you ought to think about where you are going after death. Is this your mindset? Luke 12:19 “And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.” Please please do not be this person that Jesus described here. I don't care how if you are in a ministry or even behind a pulpit. And their is no shame in getting saved. Matthew 7 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. You see there will be professing Christians that were not actually saved. I want to help you. Matthew 18:3 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Because of God's holiness we cannot be in his presence as we are in our sin. No matter how righteous one may appear everyone has sinned and one sin can lead to hell, but there is a way out. We don't deserve it but God made a way that we may become the righteousness of God (Romans 5). I want you to have 100% assurance of salvation. Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Romans 6 23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Corinthians 15: 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For WHOSOEVER shall CALL upon the name of the Lord shall be SAVED. Here is the gospel straight and simple: 1. Truly acknowledge that you have sinned against a perfect God and you are worthy of hell that can only be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ 2. Believe that Jesus died for and covered all of your sins and rose again. 3. Say to God that Jesus Christ he is your saviour. Please let me know. I am praying for you, today is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Thank you so much! It was beautiful! As a Christian, I was taught to Always honor Jews/ descendants of Israel and to actually see a Seder explained was such an honor. Our Judeo-Christian roots need to be strengthened by the richness of the Culture of what it means to be Jewish. I believe in the Exodus & the story of Creation, and learned about Moses, Joseph, Esau, Elijah, Elisha, Ruth, Esther, and so many others that would have shared this very Seder! It is an anchor, and it's only by understanding & appreciation that one can be grateful for the Meshach/Messiah! Dennis, you are an amazing person doing amazing things. This was an absolute good. We are in for very hard times with the rise of Evil & NWO. May God continue to bless & spare His Own from those who wish to exterminate the Light from this world. Amen. You have blessed my soul. 🥰🙏

Thank you for inviting me to your Seder. I'm Catholic, and recognized parts of the remembrance, or commemoration. I think the Latin word is _commemorationé_ , but I've only heard it once. It means more than just "remember when...?" It means, "Make it present," as in, " _We_ were freed from bondage in the land of Egypt." I do believe that the crucifixion of Jesus, who is Christ, fulfills the Passover, and that we daily remember the freedom from bondage to sin and the devil, and that this is the new Passover. I sincerely believe that the Lord has a purpose in preserving some of the ancient forms of worship by His Chosen People, without the ability to adhere perfectly to the prescribed form which requires access to the Temple. I don't know the mind of God, I only pray that He lead us all to Truth, in His goodness and mercy.

Passover for Church-of-God Christians takes place on the 14th day of the first month (Abib, or Aviv) of the sacred year., usually on the evening portion (which precedes the daytime portion). Jesus takes the place of the sacrificial lamb (becoming that lamb himself) on the afternoon of Aviv 14. There follows the seven days of unleavened bread, still relevant as a commitment to come out of sin, of which the first and last days are high days. Traditional Judaism celebrates Passover on the 15th day, a high day

On the night before Jesus was crucified he changed passover for all true believers. In the O.T. believers were to remember how God delivered Israel out of Egypt. Jesus said to the disciples, " when ever you do this do this in remembrance of Me." The writer of Hebrews made it clear, if you want to keep following the law and traditions of the old covenant there no longer remains a sacrifice for you. Jesus also said," new wine cannot be contained in old wine skins. "

Here’s my little Easter enlightenment for this Easter….from ONE FOR ISRAEL….. At Passover the Jews for thousands of years have sung Psalms 113 to Psalm 118…..so we can assume that “the song” that the disciples sang at the Last Supper (Matthew 26:30 and Mark 14:26) was Psalms 113 to 118. … 115:17 ”the dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence. But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and even for ever-more, Praise the Lord. Ps 116 I love the Lord because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then I called upon the name of the Lord; O Lord I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea our God is merciful. Ps 118:11 They compassed me about; yea; they compassed me about but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns; for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and my song and is become my salvation…… I shall not die , but live, and declare the works of the Lord……. The stone which the builders rejected is become the headstone of the corner. This is the Lord’s doing - it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the Lord has made - we will be glad and rejoice in it….Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. God is the Lord, which hath showed us light: bind the sacrifice cords, even unto the horns of the altar. Thou art my God and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the Lord for He is good : for His mercy endures for ever. Quite amazing eh? Imagine how Jesus would have felt singing these lines from these psalms, knowing that it was HIM they were singing about!!! Happy Easter to you and yours, Marylin Smith

Mark Dice hits a little too close to home in this video, but he is absolutely correct. For those that truly put on the Armor of Christ, watch: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NXDj42BWnuA.html

With all of that ritual, the main point of the passover is missed: "when I see the blood, I will pass over you". Most importantly, the fulfillment of the passover: when the blood of Jesus is applied, your sins are paid for because God sees His sons blood and is satisfied. I pray for Dennis Prager each morning because I long for him to see the truth because I know his love for the truth and his open mindedness. Thank you for sharing

Indeed! Contemporary Orthodox (and/or observant) Jews do not recognize Yeshua, the Son of God. However, the original Christian Apostles were Jews, each and every single one. Odd. Like other religious organizations, Jews have always delighted in rituals and rules, micro managing human behavior. Jesus gave two commandments: Love God with your whole soul and love your neighbor as yourself - the whole Law hangs on these two.....

Thankyou Dennis and your friend. I took the time to follow because, I know Jesus and the 12 also celebrated this on the night before his excruciating crucifixion. The part that was missing as I understand it. The blood of the lamb, with hyssop placed in the doorposts and header by which judgement passed over that believing house. Those that believed escaped the judgment of the firstborn, those that acted in unbelief received the judgement. John announcing Jesus ministry: "behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world." Again thank you for sharing this. And that just as a ram was provided in the place of Issac whom God tested Abraham to sacrifice his son, God also provides a scapegoat, For the sons of Adam. By which Moses said: without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin. Shalom!😉👍

The Bible predicted that in the last days, men claiming to be holy will change the teachings of Jesus and make it their own. For example, changing the Sabbath day. No wonder young people are leaving the Church in droves.

As a gentile fulfilling Isaiah 49 22 we bought out over 100thousand Jews from the former soviet union and central Asia fulfilling exactly the ancient prophecies of Jeremiah Isaiah Ezekial I saw the fulfilment of prophecy after prophecy the Bible comes alive we knew that when the Jews return home Yeshua the Messia would return but they have to say Baruch ha ba b'shem Adonis I am an Australian Bible believing Christian my father read the Bible to us every night after dinner and prayed with us my Godly grandfather was a missionary in China but had to escape Both my father and grandfather fought the Ottoman empire paving the way for the prophetic return of the Jews The Afikoman points to Messiahs sacrifice for our sin It all has meaning
