Hello lovelies
This is a happy birthday to me and a congratulations on 3 years and 5 years as Sales & Marketing Manager at my company.
Late last year, my work gave me a service award for 3 years (one year late) and just recently a 5 year award (right on time). These awards included gift cards and so I decided to treat myself to this absolutely gorgeous Passport Size Travelers Notebook in the stunning blue colour.
I can't wait to see how this colour changes over time. I've been living in this TN for almost two weeks now and I just love it.
Also it's my birthday today (the day this video goes live) so I'm also calling this a birthday present to myself.

I’m addicted to watching people set up their TNs when they first get them, I love that sense of joy people get from their first one! Went to a coffee shop yesterday and when I paid with my little passport as a wallet her eyes lit up and she was blown away by it…she got so excited and hadn’t seen one before. I love how travelers notebooks spread delight!

@desleyjane plans not too chunky I like it workable...the wallet is the fourruof, a kraft file and the agenda. It works very well like that. And I usually manage two inserts plus a zip pouch and kraft file in my journaling tns. Xx

For my passport tn I attached an adhesive pen loop to a writing board that I made myself. This way it wouldn't damage the leather and I could swap it into other tns.

Happy Birthday for yesterday! I shan't forget the date again - I never realised, but it's the same day as my son. Great haul. Love your passport TN....I used a black one for a wallet for 3 years - after Kikki-K stopped selling their Small Planners. You'll love it! Also love your Pink Frosted Kaweco - I bought one of those for myself only last week and I'm looking at it now beside my keyboard. Now I'm hunting for the ballpoint and Roller Ball in the same Pink Frosted. Just a heads up about the pen loop. 1. The flat side goes inside and the curly bit should be on the outside. 2. Clip your pen on with just the pen loop, don't try to put the whole pen into the loop....it's too small and instead of stretching, what normally happens first is that it comes away from the studs that attach it to the metal slide. I love your passport TN. I don’t like the pen loop. Glad you kept it off the leather. It looks good just the way you set it up and even how you slipped the pen on the elastic. I just ordered my passport TN and I happen to order the same one you have. Can’t wait to set mine up. They’re so adorable! 💙

If you decide to keep the pen loop, try putting the pen clip through the loop rather than the whole pen - see if you like it that way. I am waiting for my passport to arrived. I missed out on the blue (my first choice) so I’ve order the black. I wanted to say I like my sparkle and bling so I would say you can never have enough charms😜. Your Page Anchor is absolutely beautiful and even though I am in the U.K. I really want one - will check how bad the shipping is when added to the price 🫣 Thank you so much for sharing your interesting setup 🙏🏽

@@desleyjaneplans 🫣 I did end up ordering a rose coloured Page Anchor, it should arrive in the next two week, maybe even this week as I’m in the U.K. and I noticed it is coming from Denmark. I can’t wait. I didn’t order a pen loop as I didn’t want it scratching my cover and some I noticed stay on and others fall off when taking the pen out - that would seriously bug me!! I treated myself to a new Sailor mini in a music nib so that will be exciting to try that should be arriving later today!! Wishing you joy and sparkles in your day. Varsha ✨

Hi I've only just found your channel today, and I'm so pleased I have. I'm very new to TN. My bought my first one (about a month a go) which was the olive green passport size and ive just bought the Tokyo release ❤ I'm absolutely hooked! I love your yellow material insert. Where did you get it from please? And also, where did you get your charms for your TN's? I also live in the UK and bought all my TN's from Miso xx

Thanks so much Emma! I’m excited that you have the Tokyo cover! (I’ve just picked it up as well 😊). I can’t wait to set it up. I’ve just watched this video again and I’m not sure what you mean by a “yellow material insert”. Did you mean the blue one? It does come in yellow as well. It’s a cotton “zipper case” and it was limited edition from Travelers Factory. You can sometimes find them, but they do release new ones occasionally. The insert is a bit thin. It really seems to need the leather. I’m not loving the loop.

Ooo sense your into photography, IDEA; you should get a little pocket photo printer, use sticker photo paper, then put one a day in journal. Kinda a fun look back, especially when you don’t feel like writing or in addition to writing.

Yes I am into photography 😁😁😁🥰 I have a Hobonichi A6 for a creative journal and I include photos from my Canon Selphy Q10 mini photo printer. It’s so much fun 🤩

It definitely had a green look. And some people have shown it patina to a dark ocean green. I hope that’s what mine does. But it’s definitely sold as blue 😅

Yes! I love it. It’s ageing beautifully with scratches and shading. I show again it in an upcoming video. ☺️
