Fortunately, back then, the overuse of the word "like" was non-existent. He may have been thinking: "I'm surrounded by dullards" or anything else. But he was not "like" anything!🤓

Colloquialisms change over time you dinosaur, ‘somebody is like:’ is like a meme nowadays. Times change, but arrogant people who like to feel self important and pull others down seem to be eternal. Please get a life!

Carol Channing turned 97 at the end of January 2018. Long live, CC! I really hope that she will be (at least) 100. In my opinion she has every chance to make it possible: I understand that she lives very healthy (and her genes must be very good, too).

Yes- the prior show he was on, the contestants were out of line with mauling him. I don’t now how the average person would have dealt with that.
