I never thought about it, but since Betty White was always in the audience when she wasn`t playing the game, I`ll bet the lucky audience member was thrilled to be sitting next to her. I know I would be.

I wasn't very familiar with Carol or Ross but they were good players and seemed like nice people. So much happened in the world during this first run of Password episodes including The Beatles emerging and JFK being assassinated, I wasn't born so find these a great watch and like googling the celebs!

Channing was much more palatable than Berman, but her schtick could grow tiresome. But yes, Ross Martin did really well here. It made me look for other game show appearances of his and there just aren't that many. It's a shame. He's everything you said he was. And it's a shame he passed when he did.

Loved the show as a kid. A mix up of Western and tne spy fad of the 60s. And yes, the last season weren't as good as the first ones.

These videos have the look that CBS didn't even juice up the lighting for color. They only moved in color cameras, that by then were over ten years old.

I wasn't are until recently that the Gary Moore show lasted until 67 and the two last season were in color ,probably kinescoped like the rest. Carol really was earning her Betty Grable house.

How rude of Carol to try to distract her opponent. In a later episode Ross Martin comments on how aggravating that is. I'm surprised Allen allowed that to happen over and over. This is not her show. This is a time to up her teammate win money.
