He was murdered in cold blood because he kept looking at child pornography. He was beaten while he slept in his hotel room. His white tee shirt was soaked in blood. The murderer was never found.
I saw Rosie when it came out but I can't remember too much about it. I always loved Rosalind Russell but I know that she didn't think much about that movie. I can't remember Audrey's part in it, unfortunately...
That is what I thought of also. Rocky And Bullwinkle were on TV in the 1960's so it would have been a good clue. P.S. Moose have antlers (as do deer & elk) and NOT horns. Cattle have horns. Horns are empty, antlers are solid. Bad clues lose the round and often the game.
warm can't be used because it's contained in the PW 'Swarm' yet they violate that rule over and over again. great game show but definitely very inconsistent. in another episode 'Romp' was good for 'stomp'; 'Razzle' was good for 'Dazzle'; 'reverberate' good for 'Vibrate', 'assurance' good for 'insurance'. Dr. Goodyear flips a coin, heads=good, tails=bad.
Comments made below about the contestants being clueless are unjust. It's the clues their getting that suck. Swarm: Bees; Wasps; Hornets; Yellowjackets; for cryin out loud don't just stick with bees , no wonder they are confused.
she did fine, it was Bob that blew chunks all over the place with his clues. 'Um Uh Um (is not a clue) 'sea' for clam?; Cassius + game for Boxing? (how about fighting + gloves). Girl did fine once she got good clues. And Audrey was even worse. for vegetable she used up half the time and all she gave was uh, uh, uh, food, uh, uh, uh, green, uh, category, How's she supposed to guess 'vegetable' out of that? 'salad' maybe. When she said 'potato' Gail got it right away.
Good to know that ditzes dont have to be blond😂😂😂 I dont have the patience to play this with dense people...ugh. OTH, this game is great with a bunch of creative folks with big vocabularies who can think outside of the box.
evidently contestants can't say the names of products or the companies they work for. I've noticed that since the beginning. Probably because their competitors would consider that as free advertising.
Not a good episode. Bob Crane should have given better clues all week, instead of getting upset at the contestants. Contestant Steve from Van Nuys and contestant Vera McGuire from Santa Ana may have been photogenic, but NOT ready for a game show about words. Did either of those people graduate from High School? Steve was box-of-rocks daft. How did he get picked to be on the show? 🤯😒🤕 Staring at the clue-giver is not answering. Vera was not much better. Too interested in showing off her permanent sideways hairdo and smiling / giggling at the camera & audience.
The Password was "Dictator", so Bob Crane used the name of the head Nazi in Germany. Bob Crane played "Colonel Hogan" on the WW2-era TV series "Hogan's Heroes", so Hitler was a very easy name/clue for him to say. Other clues could have been Stalin and Castro and Mao. There is much information about World War 2 right here on You Tube. "History Matters" channel, and "WW-2" channel, and "Mark Felton" channel for example.
