Password Cracker with Notepad! 

for those who dont know, this is called a "brute-force attack". its when an attacker guesses and tries all possible passwords until the correct one is found.

just to let you know, you could had done this same thing from any other programming language, maybe C++ or anything that is more convenient for you, like I rarely use batch after learning how to properly code. You actually stucked to the thumbnail and made it in the notepad, so far good 👍🏻

6:06 is NOT a function, it is an identifier (for a block of code). You are using the goto instruction, which is forbidden and considered bad practice in programming languages (it was used in many programming languages many years ago, like C++), but this is still allowed in batch scripts (.bat). How it works: you set up markers (identifiers) anywhere in the code, and goto moves code execution to this marker (identifier). You can even set this up inside a function and run code from this point, skipping any code before the marker/identifier. BTW, you can avoid using "pause" and "exit" in "success" if you move "success" to the end of the code. Since the code is executed line by line, you will "move the cursor" to "success" anyway. You should treat a function like a small program which is doing something after is executed in the line, and going back to the same line after execution, but goto just move a cursor where the code is executed and doing code line by line line all the time. It's easy to make infinity loop by mistake. 2 goto are ok in bat, but more can easy make you lost control under code execution order. Think about IT, why you have to use pause and exit. Because is NOT a function and code is still executing after success and checking attempt again (because you move a cursor higher and code is executing line by line). Goto is changing a line which is now executed, that's all, is not doing nothing more and don't have a place in a memory, is just a single instruction.

Hey, no joke, this helps me work on my clients' PCs wen they don't know their passwords. They have to sign a legal form declaring the computer is definitely theirs before I start, but this script helps get my clients back into their own computers.

I want to do it on my brothers PC but Before i do i wanted to check if it Works on my PC but when it goes through all of the passwords even the right one it says that it didnt find the password. Why? (I have a pin instead of password but i don’t Think that matters)
