If someone knows url to secret page, To access directly to the secret page, just the URL is enough. we can surpass the home page validation. This solution works for those audiences who are less techy. In general, this is not a great solution though.
But this is not password protected at all. If the link to the hidden page is shared, then anybody can see it without needing the password. This is just a google form to a "hidden" page.
Looking through the comments, I had the same issue a few others did. An option to have the website open in a new tab: instead of embedding the Google Forms link on the page, insert a button that links to your google form. Then the button will open the website in a new tab automatically. It also looks a little cleaner. I also deleted the second section you added it it seemed to tidy up the form a little bit. Thank you again!
Great work. But it didn't work for me either as it wanted to open a new webpage inside the form I think, which just brought up an error message. However I found that by linking to the form from a word (instead of embedding it on the page) I was able to get it to open a new webpage with the form. Which then opens the link from inside the form (to my "secret page"). If anyone else finds a better solution, please let us know.
I was in the middle of making the form when it gave me an error toast message at the top saying your access to this page has changed. then I refreshed and got this error page "We're sorry. You can't access this item because it is in violation of our Terms of Service. If you feel this is in error, please request a review."
I know why, its because Google Forms strictly does not allow you to be submitting passwords through Google Forms for security reasons. This solution is not a good idea as it will not work and may get your account terminated
