The whole "taking the world's hatred on me" is kinda similar to Code Gueass. The MC also died, hated by the entire world. His sister and his best friend were the only one who knew he was doing it for peace. MAN I cried.
When i saw AOT i heard people talking about Code Geass so when i watched it i saw a lot of similarities so i didn't heard any official statement from Isayama but i think AOT is heavily inspired by Code Geass for it's main plot otherwise AOT is the most unique in itself... But AOT is still my top 1 all time favourite no cap...💯👌🏻
i remember watching aot in 2018 man i miss old days when me and my big cousin is still waiting for new episodes while we cosplay and beat each other like we are the attack titan and armored titan😂❤
