for people saying anxiety is the enemy: no, because she tried to help riley. she had good intentions. it didn’t work out but she tried. she fucked up but joy basically also tried creating a perfect riley by pushing every bad experience into the back of her mind to forget them. they both wanted the best for riley while riley should have both good and bad memories and shoulnd’t try to force a personality. riley should make her own riley. joy shouldn’t have tried to shape her riley by ignoring everything bad that happend and anxiety shouldn’t have shaped her by forcing her to fit in. anxiety wasn’t really THE villian. she just didn’t understand that she was going too far. allow me to define a villian: a villian does something bad intentionally. they know they’re doing something bad and continue doing so while knowing it will impact in a bad way. anxiety was doing it with good intentions and had no idea riley would think she wasn’t good enough. once realising she was just hurting her and in the wrong she let joy take over.
also for the video that said "anxiety the enemy emotion" No anxiety is an anti hero she was just trying to keep riley happy, to make her become a firehawk however this led to her having a panic attack which people keep naming it as an "anxiety attack" for some reason 💀
@@MeghanDecker no, she didn't??? did you watch the movie- she caused her to have a panic attack, but that clearly wasn't her intention...she was just trying to help her in the only way she knew how, preparing for the future to the extent of over-preparing to a fault. the literal point of the movie, is that there are no "bad emotions" ?? just because certain emotions happen to cause bad things, it doesn't make them "bad". every emotion is necessary, valid, & not without its faults 🩷!
as someone who has had anxiety attacks multiple times, that was an anxiety attack. i feel like the fact that anxiety was freaking out would make it obvious it’s an anxiety attack.
