I think that it has become very obvious, that because of this young man; the rubric has been reconfigured. I say with all honesty that I do not believe I have ever witnessed a more pure display and expression of feeling, technical ability and unpretentious giftedness. If this young man is not the best....then the best has not yet surfaced which could be. After all, where was Matteo 7-10 years ago. It is all different now. I cannot listen to anyone else again the same way.

Mr. Mancuso is so young, and already deserves a tribute. I have no words to describe what he transfers with his guitar. True emotion, outstanding technique. A whole complete guitarist and musician. Simply amazing, unbelievable. Thank God I was suggested to watch (and most importantly to listen to) these videos.
Today, if I had the first pick in the guitarist draft, I'm going with Matteo. He covers every genre with impeccable speed, clarity, phrasing, and soul.
Very few guitar players can shred a fast climbing arpeggio and stick the climax high note long enough for a nice long vibrato. Flawless and satisfying to listen to this master of the strings. I can only imagine the thousands of hours practicing to get this good.
There are guys that transcend technique and even the instrument itself: Bach, Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, Bird, Art Tatum, Jaco, Jeff Linsky, Yamandu Costa and Matteo Mancuso. He is right there with the heaviest of company. Beyond great.
Don't forget Shawn Lane for guitar. No one has quite reached his level, even today. Check him out if you have not heard of him, You're in for a very pleasant surprise. Matteo is one of the best, beyond great, I agree.
Matteo demonstrates as always his incredible eclettism. No jazz here, no fusion. Not strange scales or arpeggios. "Only" a pop rock solo. But what a class, what a feel, what a expressive performance! Music flows so naturally from his brain to his fingers...bending at 0.56 makes me crazy! But technique is only one of the aspects of his PURE ART.
He has surpassed his peers leaving smoke in the rearview mirror. Absolutely incredible and phenomenal. His fluidity and phrasing coupled with his feeling and emotion is unparalleled. I am looking forward to seeing what Matteo continues to create.

Amazing playing. Everyone looks at Matteo right hand while I am hooked by the left. Right hand fingers technique is functional to the speed of left hand fingers.

Matteo... Ti seguo da moltissimo, e la prima volta che ti ho sentito suonare, mi sono detto questo è un fenomeno!. Sono passati anni e sei migliorato ancora, studio Govan da un po di tempo, e lo reputo il migliore al Mondo oggi, e pensavo non credo ci sarà qualcuno migliore in futuro per qualità. E poi arrivi tu che hai reinventato lo strumento, un nuovo livello, complimenti davvero!

For my money , right now , the best guitarist in the world , Matteo mancuso here, max ostro and Julian Lage. These three are in a strata above all others as far as I’m concerned. Salud
I'd personally say not Max Ostro, I absolutely love his playing he's insane but I've always thought of him to be like Matteo's little brother - Matteo seems to be like the more complete version of Max. I'd replace him with maybe Guthrie.
Never seen a sentence like "to be in a strata above all" but it makes completely sense. Nevertheless "strata" is a plural, so you should use the singular form "stratum". This is a simple Latin rule of thumb useful in many situations, exempli gratia: Curriculum (sing)/Curricula (plur)
