If we have to guess in Present time about completed action Reema is crying at this time I think her Dad must have slapped her.. In past time Yesterday Reema didn't come to tuition I think she must have gone to her friend's home at that time that's why she couldn't attent the class. In Present .....modals +have +verb3 In past ....modals +have +verb3

Both are correct... In 1 we use modal" need'. In 2 we we use present indefinite... Both are correct
