Past vs Future Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Battle 

What's your favorite new Pokemon form??

The significant lack of Volcarona on both teams disappoints me.

Ride form: Miridon looks better. Combat form: Kiridon is probably one of my favorite legendary designs to date. Top 5 at least.

Honestly I really like iron valiant and how it takes the blades on its arms and combines them into one weapon, honestly really cool imo.

The booster items and Tera typing definitely make these mons scary. Flutter mane now in ubers. And I never thought Iron bundles be on the radar and iron valiant is crazy as well. Tbh I would love to see Shady when he does his battles for scarlet to use Iron Bundle with one of his old sayings lmao.

This may be a not so popular opinion on the games. While I like Violets Legend more, Scarlet has the Better Paradox Pokemon. Scarlet has a lot more unique paradox Pokemon, while Violet just makes its Paradox Pokemon Metal. The only Paradox in Violet that Somewhat changes is Iron Valiant(While is a Gardivoir x Gallade Metal Fusion)

If/When DLC comes out I hope we get more of these pokemon. It's such a cool idea

in a straight match up, it's pretty even between the 2, but that Misdreavus is absolutely cracked in actual competitive teams.

Haven't seen the battle, but root for future! Come on future Paradox team! I believe in you! Also, I think Iron Thorn's would be my favorite. I like Mecha Godzilla.

Past: Roaring Moon Future: Iron Hands

Within the new legendaries I like Miraidon and with the futuristic Pokémon I like Iron thorns, and I also like roaring moon.

I prefer the future Pokémon. They are more consistent to me. Like there are past Pokémon that are just not great but the worst future Pokémon is still good and Thorns and Valiant are just amazing

This is what I've noticed for the future vs past. The future pokemon are in a sort of middle ground. They have their highs and lows, but not outrageously so. The worse ones are still useable, and the best ones aren't game breaking. The past pokemon are the opposite. Their lows are lower, but their highs are higher. For example, not a single one of the future pokemon would be considered bad, but none are super overpowered either. But for the past pokemon, how often do you see somebody using Sandy Shocks? Almost never because of how bad it is compared to the others. And then you have pokemon like Flutter Mane, which is in I believe ubers, and Great Tusk, which is incredibly bulky and powerful and I can see being taken to ubers with the right set.

As a violet player I can confirm miraidon is nuts

So technically the future versions of the pokemon are what they gonna look like reincarnated and the past versions were how they look before they well changed and were actually given a name

The future versions are just all robot versions of the pokemon. It would have been cool if they went deeper with that idea. For example, saw a rumor that this salamance was one that never learned how to fly and thats why it is now a dark type. Amazing. But instead no lore or story reason and just a design change

In the Pokedex, it seems like iron valiant and roaring moon are after ALL the paradox pokemon because they're different like roaring moon is mega salamence and iron valiant Is a combination of gallade and gardevoir

My favorite paradox form is definitely Iron Thorns. It’s totally biased as well, for two reasons. It looks like MechaGodzilla and Tyranitar is my all time Favorite Pokémon.

DD Moon is garbage, I run full Jolly [252] and 220atk with Choice Band to hit 370 Speed and 369 [ but really 500-something] Attack. You get +1 to Speed in the Sun, since it's higher than the Attack stat, and Choice Band gives you extra Attack; try Tera-Bug with U-Turn 🔥
