Hey,I want say (y'all know), (like everybody got it) my study became a long time ago ,and sometimes I feel like I'm not intermediate student. My family said this doesn't matter but for me it's so important for my future and myself. I hope in the future feeling more enough about that.

To quickly say what the difference between them is they’re homophones, words that sound the same but have different meanings. Past is used to talk about prior or older events. Passed is past tense for pass, like saying “I walked by.”

Walked passed or past is one of the common confusing word choices in writing. The correct form is walked past. Walked passed is incorrect. The reason is that the word past is an adverb, so it is modifying the verb walked. 😄😄😄

Passed is the past tense of to pass, to skip over, or to hand across to someone else. He passed the potatoes to his brother. The time passed slowly. john was passed over for the promotion.

The car in front of me was going too slow. So, I passed (Past (adjective) tense of the verb "pass") the car, and now that I'm past (Preposition) it it's all in the past (Noun). I think I did that right.
