I did a pretty bad job at mixing this one whoops.
Blurred the beginning of the video since the information is outdated now.

must also point out: mx's visual design is also borked in this (and in MM, too) he's supposed to have a black shirt, a more "upside-down-t-shaped" hat logo, and no buttons. (edit: also no gloves) it could be a Mario's Madness specific design but i might as well say "hey that's weird" lmao (i'm thinking it must be MM-specific cuz his shirt's never red anywhere else)

i remember seeing a comment on another pasta night video that said the playable character should change depending on what mod you're playing (i.e. lord x in sonic.exe, mx in mario's madness and hypno in lullaby) was the footage inspired by that?

He is indeed off in the original. The composer forgot to pitch down his voice. If you listen to the original and Cycles back-to-back you can clearly hear the difference. As for the footage, I decided to make Hypno the playable character since his section has the most notes, and because he will probably be the playable character in the final version (this song is for the Hypno's Lullaby mod after all, it would only make sense).

The official chromatic is pitched up by default. You have to pitch it down manually which many, MANY, composers forget to do. Vessel makes the same mistake.

I liked Mario’s original vocals a bit better, and I feel like Hypnos voice could’be been a teensy but better. Other then that this is a major improvement! Edit: I like Mario’s voice in this a lot, I just like the original more

I confess Hypno's part was pretty hard to replicate since I don't have access to the original effects the composer used for his voice. As well as the Lord X and MX duet section since their voices blend together. So yeah, not completely accurate but I'd say it's a good enough job, certainty better than the other version I keep hearing in covers. The FLP is in the description if you'd like to fix it up yourself though.
