Pastel pencils are difference with each brand, some are chalkier, some more vibrant and richer in pigment. In this 'How to draw a realistic mouse tutorial' I tried out my Pastel painting technique with four different brands, CarbOthello, Conté à Paris Caran d'Ache and Faber Castell Pitt pastel pencils, they all have their special quality. Watch as I explain my simple method of colour mixing using basic colours. Sharing with you my many years of experience creating art. I like to keep things straight forward and nice and easy to follow. This video footage has been slowed down to Real time speed in places so you can take a closer look.
