Seek the Lord with your whole heart and ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit and be baptized in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loves you more than you can even imagine. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and give your heart to Him. Invite Him into your heart . Read His word daily. It is the sword of the Holy Spirit and the word cleanses and heals. It no mystery that our Ancestors was forced to accept Christianity to survive and out of fear and all things we are is on our dna that must be unlearnt , we are Spiritual by nature but the philosophy that sustains this Religion only served our oppressors not us as history proved , we can travel back to all the places the Bible demonized to find our true culture and God , someone supplanted their views over the facts and took us from the truth.

GOD is not White or Black! He is a Spirit and those who worship GOD must worship him in Spirit and in Truth! For your information sir, these are some of the songs our ancestors used to sing and shout to. These songs helped them to get over the toil against them at that time, these were the same songs that brought them through and gave them hope against all that offended them. God Himself gave them these songs and they passed them down to us. What these songs did for them, they now do for us. These songs are not oppressive as you say and think. If they are/were our/my soul would not be comforted or blessed by them. It sounds like you don't understand what great value they have. The only one who is miserable is the low down dirty devil.....you know why....because his time is just about up. Jesus already won the victory, we're just waiting for the time when Jesus will return and set things in order. There is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it. So we are going to keep singing these songs of victory because the anointing of God are on them; and the anointing destroys the yoke, and continue praying for you and so many others who haven't gotten it yet.
