Man, I was a victim to this as a kid. My parents bought into pokemon as being "pocket demons" and threw away my ENTIRE pokemon collection. My heart was broken.
My parents didn’t let us get into Pokémon, either, but for an even dumber reason, lol. They just felt it was unrealistic, for some reason. Something about it being extremely unlikely that the characters would be able to correctly choose the exact Pokémon they intended without any form of labels on the ball, all the time, lol. When I moved out I tried to get into the franchise, but I kinda missed the boat, lol.

Have you ever thought of using a lavalier microphone , that clips on to your shirt? It would help in cutting down on the reverberation, in your recording space. Or you need to get closer to your microphone source, for better audio quality. I.must say you did well, to hang the heavy drapes behind you, although you should have used moving blankets. They pretty much absorb a great deal of the room echo. But sir, please try and get a proper microphone to record with ok
