Pastor H.B. Charles Jr served for 18 years at the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist church in Los Angeles, where he succeeded his late father as pastor at the age of 17, while he was still a senior in high school. Pastor Charles is the present Pastor of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church Jacksonville, Florida.
