It does not mean that other people aren’t G-d’s people too, it just means that they aren’t expected to keep fighting against those who hate G-d and want to turn people away from G-d, but the Jews are expected to do that for everyone.

It was later added to by a man named Cyrus Ingerson Scofield and he published his ideas along with the text of the KJV Bible in 1909. This teaching became popular in the early 19th century and was for a long time. But it's finally on the decline, thank the Lord.

God promised Israel a new covenant in Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Jesus Christ established it on the cross & sealed it with His own blood (Luke 22:20). Hebrews 8:10 “I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” This is for Je/ws and Gentiles alike. All those outside of Christ are not in the new covenant & God’s wrath abides on them, including those in Israel. If anyone repents of sin and trusts in Christ they will be saved, no matter their ethnicity. There is no more dividing wall between J3WS and Gentiles in Christ (Eph. 2:14; Gal. 3:29). God promised Abraham that his Seed would bless all the families of the earth (Gen. 12:3 et al) and the Seed is Christ (Gal. 3:16). This promise is the new covenant of grace which brings eternal life. It stands in contrast to the covenant of works (Mosaic Law) which brings eternal death. Apart from Christ all are lost because of sin, including those in Israel. All people are either under the covenant of works or the covenant of grace. In Jeremiah 31:31-34 God promised to make a new, gracious covenant with Israel & Judah, which has its fulfillment in Jesus Christ and the new testament church, not in modern day national Israel. In Hebrews 8:6-13 & 10:6-18 we read about this new & better covenant, which applies to all believers, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. No one is in covenant with God apart from Christ, including Israel. Scriptures to read: Galatians 3:7-9, Galatians 3:27-29, Galatians 6:12-16, Galatians 4:21-31; 1 Peter 2:9; Romans 2:28-29; Acts 3:22-26; 2 Corinthians 3:6; Luke 1:71-73; Matthew 26:28. Blessings.
