Not once, in many, many years of going, have I ever seen a pastor, preacher, or evangelist, do what he did to that lady. He was being arrogant and rude, period! It could have been handled differently, without publicly embarrassing her. People, please be aware of these celebrity/mega church pastors and false prophets. Many are not annoited or called by God, just giving themselves titles, to get rich quickly with the church hustle. Know God for yourself.

I've been to a few of Pastor Hinns Healing services myself, and you're right, I've heard him hush ppl before too...But also agree that because of the power of healing that's being displayed, you don't know what miracle in that moment they are experiencing and outta shear excitement and joy ppl will and should express their excitement from what God is doing in that moment, I mean isn't that what the service is for??? To be healed and give God thanks, I do not ever recall reading Jesus hushing anyone he healed...I think it pleases God when we are thankful for His blessings and healing power..

It was like a wave that started at one end of the stadium. The spirit hit my sister & she began shouting. The experience was not mine to have, so I just watched & listened.

I found that if you do not go along to get along- when you stick with Bible and not church culture and stand on the Word- you will be attacked and be made an example out of. But the Word tells me that I will not be put to shame. Nah I'm a believer, and been in the church over 44yrs, my parents are pastors, raised pentecostal and been in a lot of services and from my observation, the distraction wasn't the wailing and crying out, it was the open correction. Had she been doing this during the teaching of the word, while everyone is focused on hearing, then I could have understood her actions being deemed as disruptive, but even then, to find out why the person is interrupting would make more sense versus how Keion handled it. And before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, I understand bringing order to a service as the overseer, but when we get to the point we're we are controlling and bullying God's ppl and trying to redirect how they worship & praise him, it's NO longer about the FATHER and giving HIM the honor & praise, but about how we feel and what we want. The Bible, as I'm sure you know, says, "Let EVERYTHING that hath breathe praise the Lord." It also says in Psalms for us to enter into his gates with THANKSGIVING and into his COURTS with PRAISE, be thankful unto HIM & bless HIS name! No where in the word or psalms have we read to praise or worship in silence! We don't know what that woman may have been going through. Maybe she has been in a 4 yr storm, and her only outlet and sense of freedom is to cry out to Jesus and to shush her and keep her from worshiping in her own way was the real disruption & distraction.

I’ve seen it too and definitely have seen pastors not only tell someone to be quiet but also to sit down. Pastors that are filled with the Spirit of God know the difference between true worship and flesh. She may not meant it intentionally however there is a flow of the Spirit of God and most leaders can sense where God is going and I’m not saying in this case but the enemy will use distractions to try and interrupt what God is doing!

There is no doubt in my mind that some people work THEMSELVES up every single Sunday in an effort to be seen. It has nothing to do with being overcome or slain in the spirit. It has everything to do with showing out in an attempt to get attention. There is a huge difference. This constant disruption in church had to be addressed. It has gone on for far too long. I understand being under the unction of the Holy Spirit; however contrived and planned antics are quite annoying for everyone in the congregation. Why give any more attention to a situation that we know nothing about nor have to deal with? Have you considered that this was her agenda the entire time? God does things with decency and in order. He had to address it when and where it happened. He is accountable for the flock of people that God has called him the lead. There are plenty of other churches that she could attend where her behavior is acceptable. No one is making her stay. She has a choice if she wants to leave. It’s apparent that she likes and wants to continue to be there since it has been 4 years. He is the pastor not her. He is responsible for everyone getting what they need. Not just her needs only.

She wasn't singing rap music but crying and praying. Albeit loud it was not handled appropriately nor was it handled timely. We'd all be having a different conversation had compassion and timeliness been involved but neither seem to have been. If this was an issue for 4 entire years I would be upset as a member if fake activity is taking place at my church and nothing is being done to quell or help it. Ask yourself why is this being handled this way on tv? What if that lady was you?! And, if there was truly a problem there is procedure and a downline to handle in the moment so Pastor is able to Lead the prayer and connect with God. The fact he had to "handle" that right then also shows that there is disorder. Her actions, if fake, should have been a simple hand gesture from the Pulpit to the deacons to kindly escort her offstage. But He broke the order of service by snapping and shushing her in an unkind manner. Showmanship, not Order, was served.

If this has been an ongoing , disruptive, issue of fakeness or whatever for almost half a decade then is he really being accountable to and for his flock? Sounds like a runaway train that's been running for 4 years with no brakes. And then that's dangerous without such guardrails in place to protect the sheep. Who is accountable for that? We are flesh and are fallible and prone to mistakes. Sounds like you missed the part where he spoke about knowing the difference between when someone is worshipping God and when a person is creating a disturbance. That's the kind of pastor most people would prefer to be under. Not someone who allows people only pretending to worship God to disturb others who actually are, during praise and worship. If you're someone who believes should be able to do whatever you want in church, then you need to stay home!
