Well, thank you dear Pastor Paul... I think talking about God's will in marriage has to do with individual's desire....God gave us a desire alongside with a right to choose that we must exercise.....unfortunately, most of God's children have abandoned their God's given rights to choose and instead are praying to God....that is the reason many are in relationships they are not happy with. Let me say this......if God gives you a rights to choose and you don't exercise it, you will definitely loose out because you will most likely not get your desire.... So, weither you are a man or a woman...please learn to go for what you really want....the rights to choose was not given to men only but to both.....thank you sir
The right to choose is not superior to the will of God for you. The right to choose comes after you have sought His will and found it. You decide whether to choose God's will or go with your own desires.
@@godwinmasley5626 ...how can God give us a desire and at the same time give us something that goes against that desire? ...for instance, let say you like tall ladies and God bring a short one instead.....what do you make of that..? Are you saying God is not sensitive to your wants and happiness?
@@eddycalyo8009 God has His will for your life. You can also have your own desires. You need to understand that God will not bend His will to suit your desires. That is where free will comes in. You exercise your will to either follow God's will for your life or go your own path. Whichever one you choose, there will be consequences. You'll find life in God's will but you'll find death in your own ways. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the ways thereof are the ways of death. The fact that you like a tall lady does not mean she's God's will for you. A true spiritual will desire what God wants for him and just in case his desires don't align with God's will for him, the man will forsake his desires no matter how painful it is and go with God's will. That is the mark of a true spiritual man. He is one who is led by the Spirit of God and is bent on obeying God no matter what it will cost him. When the psalmist said "Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart", he wasn't referring to desires born out of your own will and ambition. For a man who truly delights in the Lord will only desire those things that are the will of God for him hence God will fulfil those desires because it is His will. The will of God is superior to your desires. So before you desire anything, find out if it is God's will for you. It will save you a lot of broken heart and disappointment.
@@godwinmasley5626 God does not give us freedom to choose in every aspect of our lives......but in this very aspect, we have the power to choose for ourselves; however, when that power is not timely exercised by us....anything we get we have to go with it, happy or not... He has already told us that "all things are ours" so let for you to "lambano"(reach out and collect) what you want....
I think am tired I want to quit this marriage even if we r Christians am bored!!! I just want to b single period..I hv just never liked men I dnt even kno why I accepted to marry o lord am sorry for time wasting n destiny
