Pastor Survives Point Blank Attack After Gun 'Miraculously' Jams

Pastor Glenn Germany spoke to CBN News to explain a harrowing ordeal - and a miracle - that unfolded at his church in North Braddock, PA over the weekend. While preaching the sermon, a mentally disturbed individual approached the pastor mid-sermon, pointed a gun directly at him and pulled the trigger - but miraculously, the gun jammed. Pastor Germany called it a "miracle" that the gun didn't go off, adding he's grateful to be alive.
Pastor Germany also explained he and his fellow parishioners held the attacker down for about 20 minutes and prayed for him during that time. By the end of their time ministering to him, he had actually apologized for his actions.
Clarence McAllister also joins the interview briefly, discussing his role in quickly tackling and subduing the attacker.

Murder is the only crime that the "attempt" of the crime might not carry the same sentence. Attempted armed robbery can carry the exact same punishment as armed robbery. Attempted murder can have a life sentence, but not a death sentence. I do think he should be charged with premeditated attempted murder.

@@Danny451 That verse is not about children as in youngsters, and since the fall there has been sin and suffering in the world. God's children means those who belong to Him, whatever age, child or adult. Also, its not to do with everyone being always saved from death, that doesn't always happen. It is that God purposes His will, and that will can not be stopped by anyone. When its your time to go, that's it, but Children of God preaching about God's plan to save us from our sins, often see miracles of protection. I have seen some amazing protection and answers to prayer while on mission myself.

I had two dreams , one on the night before this breaking news, that two persons at diff times shot me point blank several times and absolutely nothing happened to me, not one bullet mark on me, the shooters were disappointed, the one with the long gun killed all 3 people sitting around me, and they all died on the spot. I woke up wondering what is this dream. I just started praying for everyone around me, church, and members of the body of Christ. I was encouraged when I first heard about this incident. Indeed this is the time for God's miraculous signs and wonders. I confess daily, no weapon can penetrate my body, physically or spiritually. All glory to God for saving this pastor's life.

I personally have been spared death 4 times in my life by an ex husband who had a gun twice and a knife twice also. God my father was protecting me and I’m so grateful to say the least. So, I can testify that I’m alive today because of His protection. I don’t know why others are not so fortunate and have died because of violence. I only know what I have lived through.
