There is no pretrib rapture. The "rapture" is the gathering/resurrection at the second coming of Christ. We are not raptured/gathered until the dead in Christ are raised first (1 thess 4:15). Jesus says they will be raised on the last day (Jn 6:39,40,44,54, 11:24). Jesus says the last day is when He comes to Judge (Jn 12:48). There is one second coming and it's at the end of time when the saints are given relief and the ungodly are judged (2 thess 1:6-10). We are gathered to Jesus at His public second coming (Mt 24:29-31, Mk 13:24-27, 1 Cor 15:23, 1 thess 4:14-17, 2 Thess 2:1-3), not years before His public second coming.
Everyone has their opinions on the rapture and a verse to support it. The rapture isn't something we should solely focus on, but rather spreading the love of God and ministering to people and loving others
@@victorparkinson3316 Do you see anything scripturally wrong with my argument above? Paul says the dead in Christ rise and then those who alive are caught up to meet Christ at His coming (1 thess 4:15). Jesus says in John that the dead in Christ rise on the last day and He also judges on the last day. I'm arguing that the second coming and rapture is one event where we meet Christ as He is descending from Heaven.
@@Strongtower Your position about when the rapture will happen is your position. All I'm trying to say is that it shouldn't take precedent over the importance of spreading the gospel and loving others as God has loved you. There's a very important reason why God made the rapture so perplexing to figure out, It is because that is his son grandiose return. SO I DEFINITELY UNDERSTAND WHY HE WANT US TO BE ON THE LOOK OUT.
