Pat and Neil are the perfect combination. No wonder they got married. Neil is probably one of the most underrated guitarists his solos are awesome. Neil is a lucky man.
The, so called hall of fame sucks anyway. There are many many people that are in that had nothing to do with rock! I think it’s a bigger honor to not be in that hall of sham!

I remember in 1980 seeing this performance on American bandstand and I've been a pat benatar fan ever since. Bought the album same day afternoon. Fantastic
I fell in love with Pat Benatar at the young age of 14 I had been paid $10 for babysitting the first money I've ever made in my life and I spend it on her album precious time loved her ever since seen her in concert numerous times I'm now 53 and I still love her music have every one of her albums is she still rocks to this day much love and respect for this woman and for her husband Neil Giraldo
I am a great singer as well i. Had choir class in high school junior and senior year i was the only guy in the soprano section that was 32 years ago but i still have. The strong singing voice

Yes the queen of rock and roll...In the Heat of the night..was one of the best albums ever produced for a female singer..so underrated!!..by far her best album! women today don't compare
I was a high school senior 79-80. I had liked Linda Ronstadt, Blue Bayou, etc. Then Pat Benatar happened. Pat ROCKED! Later Linda put out the Mad Love album, seemed like she was trying to be Pat. Pat finally made the Rock and Roll HoF, long overdue and well deserved !

My favorite female vocalist is Pat Benatar, and Neil's guitar 🎸 playing is awesome on many of their songs. My favorite songs are: Hell is for Children, Heartbreaker, Hit me with Your Best Shot, Promises in the Dark, You Better Run and Fire and Ice.
Pat was certainly a pioneer for women in rock. Fast forward to today, and there are dozens of great female singers around; more in metal than in rock, but it's great to see either way.

damn i miss the music shows we had growning up.... that includes motown too! love all that those shows brought to ALL people of all types... put dance fever in their too when disco was around... couldnt TOUCH that stuff....great artists and songs that people still listen to and..DANCE TO TODAY!
I saw them at about this time. I was drawn in by Neil's powerful guitar work. After one tune, Pat bowled me over. Her power, impact, and those legs knocked me over. Glad they're still together, still rockin'

I saw Pat in the late 70's at a place called Old Man Rivers in Westwego, La. (outskirts of New Orleans) of all places when no one knew who she was. She was great.
They don't make music artist like her anymore. Just am lucky enough to grow up in the 80s and be a part of something very special that won't come back again, unfortunately.
