Being a guitar-layer myself I find this most impressive. What struck me most though is the gentleman on the drums. That was absolutely fenomemal!!! Wow - great job there! He is a gem!
Pat's using a polepiece CCII in the neck position on this song. They're definitely brighter than my C.A.R. pickup. The CCIIs sound how my CAR pickup would sound if you took the aluminum housing off. That said, the darker/fuller sounding CARs are magic with the right strings, amp and pick combo.
