I know zero folks to admit to have done this out of many friends that went to BYU.. however.. this idea is so absurd I laughed the whole way through your show!! As a Mormon and a long time fan of the show. Unfortunately this is real, some people are dumb enough to think that this isn’t sex. But it makes for good jokes so at least we have that 😂 Anyone who get offended just needs some more humor in their lives. Mormons make fun of Mormons more than anyone else. Provo is the Florida of the Mormon culture.

I had to listen to it a second time and laughed even harder. I live in a predominant Mormon community and I'm just contemplating how I'm going to interject this into a conversation. That just makes me laugh even harder. What a great show.

I was raised Mormon and know many people who have went to BYU and have never heard of anybody actually doing this. I think it's an urban legend to make fun of the legalism and sexual repression of that environment. Any serious Mormon would think that soaking is just a stranger and more perverted version of having sex and would do the deed normally if they decided to go that far. That said I find the idea of people being so guilt ridden, conflicted, and confused that they would think do something like this to be such a heartbreaking and ugly thought that I hope it's fake and am biased accordingly.

I'm LDS and this is the first time I've heard of Soaking. I had heard of the Super Dates at BYU, but Soaking is new to me. Maybe it is a newer attempt at a workaround.

I had never even heard of soaking before and I am Mormon. This is the funniest thing I have heard of. I remember in College that some couples would go to Vegas and get married so they could have sex and not tell anyone and then get it annulled later. There are always loopholes.
