Did they really think pat mcafee and matt hasslebeck really just showed up to the world series without tickets.. Someone should have let these guys in to at least chill somewhere INSIDE the stadium while they figured out how to not take someone elses seat lol.
rstipper I mean...to play Devil’s Advocate; as awesome as Pat is; he was a Punter. Matt Hasselbeck isn’t exactly a big name quarterback. They might not know who they were.
@@MVP7689 NOT A BIG NAME QUATERBACK? I'm sorry how many guys exactly have Quaterbacked a Superbowl? Its also very clear from the story that the guy knew exactly who Matt Hasselbeck was anyway.
Technology isn't needed for every thing and once again making something that should be a simple exchange of some card stock into an amazing story by none other than an amazing story teller
I've gone to a bunch of nationals games and never had an issue. i just buy the tix from the site and pick them up at will call. easy. i can understand how damn frustrating pat's experience was though.
First time I used mlb app it worked great. Second time the tix wouldn’t load and had to go to will call. Only took about 5 minutes but it wasn’t a sold out World Series game
I had a similar issue with the MLB Ballpark app. Typically I see games at Suntrust Park, a month ago I went to Miller Park. I had to change my ballpark to Miller Park in the App in order to see my tickets.
This video is 100% accurate. I'm originally from NY and I miss Yankee stadium, the games, the fans, etc dearly. Since I moved 10 years ago I've absolutely loathed Baseball in every other city i go to, Chicago especially, "go Cubbies!" Stfu.
I have seen the same thing happen on the seat geek app. At a Cowboys game the number of people I think caused the tickets not to show just endless loading screen.
I used seatgeek for a Bucks game and they told me the tickets I bought somebody already has those seats and my tickets were invalid. Moral of the story I bought court side tickets to end up being seated all the way up top:/
Respect. I was expecting the typical entitled celebrity bitching about the world not handing them everything in a timely manner. That truly was a nightmare experience. Thanks for being level headed.
Finally somebody telling me a direct story about why SeatGeek is better than other competitors, maybe I'll listen to all those people that were sponsored by SeatGeek now!
It's just the crazy fees they put on the ticket prices. When I first downloaded SeatGeek, the fees were reasonable. Now it's better to just go to the stadium and buy it at the ticket office. You get cheap tickets, but when it's tacked with a ridiculous fee, there is no point.
MLB Ballpark app is absolutely terrible. Used to be great and then they updated it a couple years ago and it’s never been the same. Not to mention that the Astros have some of the strictest security in the MLB.
I went to the twins and Yankees game and purchased the tickets through seat geat. Then to get the tickets it made me go through the ballpark app and I had the same problems
@@alphadog4real53 went there in 2015. It was pretty dope. Also baseball doesn't suck. The only people who think baseball sucks or people who only watch one sport and refuse to watch others.
I apologize on behalf of the Houston Astros organization. They should’ve done better, I am ashamed of the disrespect. If you ever find yourself in Houston again please avoid Greg, he is not an accurate representation of a true Houstonian.
The astros are the worst orginization in sports. Every scout for them is disrespected and likewise for other teams. They do everything wrong there. Dont base opinions one the worst
I like baseball. It’s by far my fav sport to play (mostly cuz I’m chubby and u don’t need to be athletic to play). I have a huge respect for the game and the beauty and math behind it. It’s one of the most stats driven game. The analytics are crazy in depth and there are so many stats. It’s been a huge favorite in my family and has connected not only my immediate family but both of my extended families.
I totally understand why ppl don’t like watching it. It’s very slow and relaxed with a lot of downtime. To me that usually just builds tension for the game but I can see the disinterest. Ik I’m biased and if it wasn’t in my family so much idk if I’d be into it as much as I am now
That’s strange. If I were Matt hustleboy I would have directed their apology to the right place. It bothers the hell out of me when someone does that. I had a lady that came to my hose for foreign exchange student. She was talking to my wife in Spanish. I did I and introduced myself and she gave me a dirty look and then tried to ignore me in my home. My wife had to stop me after I called her out on it cause I was going to just keep telling her that you don’t do that Especially when your in their home. Turns out the lady was batshit crazy.
It's too early to laugh Astros need one more win and then I'll be right don't want to jinx them go Astros and the best 3rd baseman in baseball hopefully will be the MVP
You, my friend, have far more patience than I do....I'd have probably just left after the first half an hour of rigmarole trying to get in and then let everyone who would listen to me know exactly how poorly the staff handled the situation. Baseball is a sport I love to listen to on the radio in the background while I'm doing other things, but that is probably sentimental because my grandpa always had a baseball game going in the background. That said, it is boring, or flat out awful to watch. I've been to several games in a few different cities, and there's just something about getting sunburned waiting around all day for something, ANYTHING, to happen that is not at all appealing to me. haha! I will happily catch the highlights on ESPN, though. haha!
Football is still WAY better than Baseball, even after all the shitty changes and bad referees who are probably involved in sports betting. One year my local team won the World Series and I hardly gave a shit because it wasn’t a Super Bowl.
