When will it be “over” Next they’ll trick you with the “rhinovirus” but all that would be is a rebranded common cold. Same with corona. We’ve been getting coronaviruses every year...
@@bubbaandtheoldmanauburnspo214 bruh, look how easy half the population drank the kool aid. These elites are laughing at us. Didn’t the governor of Cali just shut down our thanksgiving and thousands of people’s jobs but was out and about with 20 people eating with zero “protocols” in place
I listen to A LOT of comedian podcasts and love when they do insider talk about the industry and most of them complain about doing morning shows and having the HOSTS ask them before hand to provide those notes so they can have specific talking points.
As a native Hoosier (now Charleston), longtime Colts fan and a girl that thinks the funnier you are the sexier... thank you.. for making me laugh day in and day out! 🤣
Agreed! I saw it on RU-vid as well, & I was really impressed. It really was more of a funny 1 man show, more so than what a professional comedian's hour special would be. He basically told his life story in sequence with funny individual stories along the way, which was great but not quite as difficult as an hour of standup with jokes and bits on individual premises. Regaurdless for someone who hadn't spent years honing their material & to do an hour plus right off the rip was impressive. Clearly Pat is a naturally funny guy, it would be interesting to see him do a 2nd special more in the style of a traditional standup & see what he could come up with. I'm sure Pat has plenty more funny stories, but he couldn't use the same structure (life story/journey to the NFL) so it would be interesting to see his new approach. If he just told more stories & connected them or tried to do bits & premises based off of current events or funny ideas or a combination. Regaurdless I think it would probably be a lot more work & more difficult because he clearly told some of his best stories & even though he hadn't done standup he told those stories during interviews & I'm sure he told them holding court with buddies & teammates, even if he didn't know it he had worked out a lot of those stories over years even if he didn't realize it at the time.
@@denimchicken104 exactly, it was a funny one man show not a true hour comedy special. Regaurdless he did a pretty good job for someone with minimal experience, especially if you compare it to how awful somebody like Brendan Shaub's special was! I was interested & amused by Pat's even if I wasn't literally lol'ing, compared to Shaub's which I couldn't make it all the way through, & shaub was 3 or 4 years into standup which was the only thing funny about his special!
There's quite a few people who it could be. Seinfeld is the first that came to my mind, I don't think he would have said Schumer was actually funny. It's kinda sad when you find a comedian you like and then when you watch interviews they just use the same jokes, so nearly any comedian wouldn't surprise me.
I mean credit for him doing stand up on the fly. He already surpasses 99% of everybody by doing so. but renting out a spot for 30K and having a friends and family laugh off is not legit stand up. As funny as pat is. Which he is.
@@antoniocaballero3976 wow you could not be more stupid. Louis ck was a writer on conans show, and it is the host who wants comedians to do their acts, not the comedian. And Louis ck is literally the worst example you could think of. He has 100+ hours of original content on the most popular xm radio show. You are just stupid.
Pat has to tell the boys and us who the awful comedian was? This Is a possible list of comedians that Pat is talking about: Ellen DeGeneres, Drew Carey, Louis CK, Jim Gaffigan, Daniel Tosh, George Lopez, Brad Garrett,
You are 10 times funnier than a ton of professional comedians. A lot of them are just so dirty and think they’re funny when they swear 10 times a second. For example Kevin Hearts new thing. I laughed way more to your stand up
People who complain that a standup comedian "wasn't funny in conversation" are like people who complain that a lawyer or doctor they met at a party wouldn't give them free legal or medical advice. The guy was a professional comedian - professional. He's not trying to make you laugh unless you pay him first. And someone should inform Pat that "hiring a hall" and filling it with well-wishers is not doing standup. Standup is getting up in front of a bunch of strangers who are as happy to boo you offstage as laugh, and winning those people over.
@@cisium1184 eh rent a hall, fill it with rubes, tell some hacky stolen jokes and sell merch after. It’s the RU-vid personality way! Don’t forget to subscribe and like!
