Tara I love how you keep the footage where you might be struggling with a palette/shadow. I think my number one issue with eye shadow palettes is choosing colours that go together and look good on the lid. It can turn into a disaster real quick! Keeping it real is great, we all have these issues and it’s nice to see how you overcome it…if you can 😜👍🏻💗

Tara, you do not give yourself enough credit. I loved your second look. I loved all three, but two was quite special. I too am more of a neutral girl, but I bought this as soon as it launched, and LOVE it! I am a true pink, not just undertone lol, and these colors look great on my cool skin, so far I have really loved this collection. I also purchased Bronze Bliss, the five pan, and the Divine Rose cheek palette.

Your experience of working with an extremely colourful palette is exactly what I go through 😂😂! Beautiful Tara! That blue is gorgeous! I think this is the BEST holiday palette yet. You have neutrals, warms, cools, color + everyday shades. Great formula. 10/10 for me. I'm so happy I picked it up. I'm also super excited to play with the new DR blush palette, peach blush single, and mini bronze palette next (yay for some cool shades this time). Love these looks on you!!! Oh I used that deep purple in one of my looks under the blue shimmer (totally out of my comfort zone too) and it definitely stained by eyes but was totally worth it. Just love this palette! Can't wait to see the rest

Happy for colour lovers but also happy for my wallet because this palette is WAY too bright for my tastes.

I skipped on this one but I'm happy she gave people more colour, i picked up one of the 5 pans from this collection and its gorgeous 😍 i have last years mothership mega and i still really enjoy it so I'm happy to keep using that one. Great review Tara

Omg 😳 I have never appreciated swatches so much!! I had to pause to really get what I was seeing... There it was the Celestial, Moonlit and Love palettes, all 3 in my collection. While I'm happy she included color, I will only use them as accents. I focus on the light shimmers (not midtones) and I'm shocked how similar the 2 main ones are to Celestial?! Seriously, what are brands doing?? Maybe the tide is turning & it's time to stop buying makeup we already have for the sake of getting something new. 🙄 Same with the CTilbury face palette, I have her highlighter palette & PM Divine Rose blush?! Thank you Tara!! 🤍 I'm hoping the black 5 pan will be the one thing I get even though I don't want or need the 2 gold shades. Otherwise I'm going to focus on another pair of moto boots and look for a cool faux black leather jacket!! 😁 xo

Hi Tara Thank you for this video and these three looks. This is one of my third or fourth time seeing videos from you over the last four years .I was Glad that your video popped up when I saw that you were doing three looks, I was really intrigued.. I'm 55 and I love this palette 🤗💖👍.I love the little dashes of color and I want to tell you that you're doing a better job than you realize. On the 2nd eyelook. I'm here to tell you though, your eye looks are fantastic! 💐You did a great job with them and they really flatter your lovely eye color. This is the third year straight that I've bought this holiday palette from Pat McGrath. I love all three of these pallets and for me they are worth the money , since it is a Holiday palette, I consider it a treat.. I use these pallets as companion palettes to a lot of my other eyeshadow palettes that I own so it totally works for me.Especially when there are palletes out there that are quads that are like $90 and their basically rehash color stories that keep being churned out . Tara Lynn, if you just took some micellar water or eye makeup remover and just clean up the outer edges/corner that's it! Also some concealer would much rather I like when makeup artists take a chance and step out of the box. implement some color You know just just a dash of color is is fine I think it looks great. I've had a great time doing my eye looks and doing tasteful ones for my age bracket. but I still have challenges because my eyes have changed over the years and and you have to be strategic. I use Anastasia eyeshadow primer, Mac paint pot, Urban Decay eye primer, or even just some concealer can help if you ever get stuck with a look. I do not own Natasha Denonas love palette that came out about 3 years ago or something. I personally just want the newest formulas I'm excited and pleased with these newer formulas and 18 pans . I just bought this palette on sale, and it’s a beautiful palette. I’m not a big colourful person but I’m into this palette! I love a purple eye look so this is going to be fun to check out. Also, that blue shimmer shade is so gorgeous and not my cup of tea per say but this colour I tried swatched on my eye N I love it! 😊 I ordered last year’s holiday palette too ! Off Poshmark and I hope it’s a gooder!

hi. as some1 who is not a pro mua, i luv that you didn't edit out the moments where you were shadow struggling & kir. thank you for doing that bcz as much as i truly *LOVE* the art & the creativity that comes with eye work, i sometimes struggle in even the most basic of looks & in using the most basic of shades. *THANK YOU* for letting us see everything & not just your IG moments.

With Pats pallets which for me are the most color centered pallets I Own I try to inspire my looks by looking at exotic birds 🦅 and their colors & then I get beautiful ideas on how to create just beautiful looks with Pats pallets … It works like a charm just a tip for your next colorful Pat review.. Congratulations on diving into some of the more vibrant mattes. I own both prior Celestial palettes but feel with this palette that the shimmers should have been the colourful shades and the mattes, the muted wearable looks. That's the reason I didn't purchase this. I love colourful shimmers yet not mattes, especially with mature eyes. I do have the ND Love Palette which I bought at 60% off, so it's interesting what you've stated with the comparisons.🇦🇺💖🕊

I’m so glad that I passed picking up this pallet. After watching this video, well, you confirmed my decision. The only shades I would want from this palette are the upper Quad that you used in your last look. Looking forward to your reviews on the two five pan palettes. Those look like they are more my preference and lifestyle.

Hello Tara! I almost wish she did this as three separate palettes for the holidays. One neutral, one cool and one warm toned palettes. I’m torn over picking this one up. I’ve gotten her others from prior years. And I find myself never reaching for them due to so many shades I never use. I know I’ll never use the warm tones in this palette. They just don’t look good on my skin tone. Plus, I feel like the Sydney Grace collab with Temptalia from last year might replicate many shades. I wonder how others are reacting to this years holiday palette are they grabbing it or passing? 🌟🌟🌟

I'm thinking about reducing my palette collection for 3 palette. I have tons os eyeshadows that area super hard to work with and doesn't shine so bright to bring attention to the eye. The only good one that I've had expired. Now I've bought Patrick Ta 2 and Natasha Denona My dream Palette, but only this two will leave me in the pink, coral, bronze, peach and purple grades. Than I'm truly considering get this one to work with the other two and keep only them for at least 2 or 3 years.

I am in Michigan and her orders take that long or longer to get to me too. I don’t buy often from her because I am impatient and can’t wait that long😂 My Charlotte Tilbury order was sitting waiting for UPS to pick it up for four days before they got it. After that it was at my house in a day. I ordered from Sephora later the same day and had my package in two days!

I have the love (and rarely reach for it) and I have the PM holiday from last year. Maybe I can pass on this one 🧐😅

So I can’t thank you enough. I have Celestial Odyssey and ND Love. Now I don’t feel the need to spend my nearly $150 Australian. I already have most of the colours. And realistically I’m never going to wear the bright colours in this palette.

For me, it"s an easy pass. It"s too bright for my personal preferences. I bought the holiday palette in 2020 bc I fell in love with It and I've used it very few times (it's too dark for a daily use). When I buy any expensive make up I want it to be used much more often.... . Greatings from Spain.

I have to admit I have passed on the entire collection. I already have a good collection and just don’t need mega cardboard palettes of stuff I already own. Even the quads have been done away with !!! Not a special PML colour in sight! 😢
