As you were turning the palette to show the shades, you could see all the lovely shifts of sextraterrestrial! I’ve been saying for months, if the indie brands can make multichromes, why can’t mainstream?? And here comes Mother Pat!! Bringing the beautiful shade shifters!! I wasn’t buying this, but those special shades are calling my name!! I wanted the pink ones tho! Lol

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who wasn’t as excited for the hot pink shade. I’ll probably never use it but the entire rest of the palette had me 🤤! I managed to get both LE palettes too and mine arrived today! I can’t wait to play! 🥰♥️🌹

Both eye looks are beautiful, Patty. The lighter one is appropriate for daytime, and the smoky eye look is stunning for evening. I can’t wait to see some other eye looks using this palette. I also purchased this palette, and have the limited edition packaging.

I definitely love the VR Sextraterrestrial eye better! When you turned your head sideways I could see it shift to green on your lids! Absolutely gorgeous and mesmerizing. Gorgeous looks! Sextraterrestrial is so crazy in person. Having gotten the palette, I've noticed video footage in people's reviews just doesn't seem to do it justice. The shift's as bright a green as shown in the product photo they released (on the edges), but the shift always seems more coppery on camera. I was actually pretty floored by how bright the green was.

Hi Patty, loved loved loved the video, thanks so much for all the inspiration!!!👍🤩 Your eyelooks are stunning by the way, everything I see from you!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩 Your eyelooks remind me a bit of very talented people like Mel Thompson, Kelsee Brianne Jai, Alicia Archer (kinkysweat) and Morgan Turner! The 2ne Pat palette and look how you are doing this!!!!!!! You are so creative and so talented, and not all the brushes you use are natural hair (I believe only the Rephr), I use only natural hair brushes with my PMG palettes and of course I don't get the same result like you, but it's getting better since the natural hair brushes. Even the exagger eye palette of Charlotte Tilbury, I was so frustrated of that one, I can handle now with my fingers or the eye brushes from Wayne, Sonia and Rephr (and have a very little bit of Chikuhodo and 1 very small for my lower lash line from ....what's her name, also on Beautylish, so choose vegan now. But natural hair or not, you handle every palette👍💪🤩🥂🎉👏, I am gonna look more video's of you, because I like to keep on learning as a hobby make up addict! Lots of love and have a nice day!!!🖐😘😘

The second look is the bomb! It's so funny that when I saw the palette, I thought how I'm so tired of that hot pink color showing up everywhere and everyone seems to use it. It was nice that you chose not to in this video. The #7 palette is my kind of color scheme. Can't wait for you to use that one, too.

I agree. I don't wear hot pink eyeshadow and I've avoided palettes that include them. I got DR2 knowing I wouldn't use that particular shade, so it was nice to see some demos that skipped it, too. This palette definitely did not need a hot pink, but I wasn't going to let that one shade deter me. No regrets -- this palette is stunning!

I picked it up during the restock Friday I can’t wait to get it! I wish I could have gotten the limited edition packaging but I’m good with the black packaging! This will be my 5th mothership palette! Big palette anyway lol I have all the others she’s came out with besides 2 of the mini palettes.. I still want to pick up mothership 2 & 3 but every time I go to get them she released another lol this one will go great with the Devine rose 1!

I’ve looked at all the mothership palettes, weirdly, I preferred VIII from the initial pictures I saw, now you showed them side by side and swatched some of the shades, I actually prefer VII. That would be a very expensive mistake. I prefer your right eye with the lighter colours as I can’t get away with a transition colour that dark, another reason I think I prefer VII. Some of the satin shades would look amazing in the crease against those flip colours though. I’ve avoided shimmers in the crease, until I got Tarte pro remix palette, I’ve actually experimented more with the shimmers in there and used a lot more shimmer than I was previously comfortable with. I actually like it if it’s done with right combinations. I’m looking forward to seeing the looks with VII.

I'm with you regarding the hot pink colour, although I don't like ANY shade of pink on me. They make me look as though I've been up crying 😢all night. Both looks are pretty, although I like the second one the best. But both really suit you.

How does astral pink moon compare to astral solstice in terms of texture. I have divine rose I and the astral solstice I find is chunky but I saw Kinky Sweat say astral pink moon is smoother than solstice. Do you also think the same?
