PAT MCGRATH x BRIDGERTON II | How I Really Feel 🤨 

Girl you sang all the right keys!! Pat is amazing! I have been a stan since 1990. When Allure was my Bible and we didn’t have what everyone has now. I remember her carrying 30 suitcases to different fashion shows across the world. Her and Kevyn were the ultimate. She made trends every season and back then that was the thing you followed the fashion makeup trends. She is revolutionary and a pioneer. This collection is beautiful but your right it isn’t what she is capable of and also, totally agree about the shipping. I waited till Sephora launched it because I still got it faster then anyone who bought it on the site. Which is sad because people are skeptical of buying on her online site. After being in cosmetics and makeup artistry for 30 yrs of my life; she still is a shining star. I just don’t want her to sell out. I kind of feel like that is what Charlotte Tilbury has done. Because her collections are still the same thing every time. It’s just a mass thing now. Not what the artist was and eventually everyone will get tired of it and move on; just like they did with MAC and Bobbi. Thank you for a beautiful review. I just made a vid. I totally agree with you on every aspect. I passed on ordering on her site because of the shipping concerns based on the first collection. When it hit stores, I was not excited about it so I passed.

Kelsee THANK YOU for saying what needed to be said! Pat is on year 3 of pink remixes and despite being a billion dollar brand their shipping is abysmal! Very frustrating for a prestige brand with prestige prices. Pat McGrath is honestly the reason I started watching you and Alicia and not the "big" influencers anymore because no one was being honest when her products fell short except you guys because they all got bought with a trip to Milan. My recent frustration was them holding back Bridgerton 2 from Sephora so that people couldn't take advantage of the VIB sale to purchase it. I have loved Pat since I first discovered her work in the 90's but it's been falling short lately. I hope the brand heeds your respectful feedback because it's really not acceptable anymore for what they charge.

Thank you for expressing how many of us feel about Pat’s brand lately. After Huetopian Dream ( which is now one of my favorites ) but I’m over the pinks. I’ve been skipping sooo many releases after that. So while she’s acquiring other mainstream consumers, she’s been losing buyers such as my self that was looking to her brand for high quality unique creative color stories for inspiration. Plus you should most definitely be on her PR list! You are one of the best!!!

As always your honest review of this collection is appreciated. I knew this was a hard pass for me when it dropped and I love Mama Pat but I am sooooo over this pink color story. As for the packaging, I'm just gonna pretend it didn't happen. LOL!

I'm a fan of Pat McGraft too.And I agree with everything you said about this collection! Just wanted to support PML and Shonda Bridgerton collection but I definitely have all of these colors already. Love your look ! Really don't understand why you don't get PR from Pat McGraft Labs.

I love your perspective on this collection. I know people complain about the packaging being cardboard and cheap but for me… I travel a lot and I appreciate the cardboard packaging vs the mothership packaging bc I LOVE my PMG products and hate leaving them behind bc I don’t want to damage them when traveling.Does the packaging say “luxury” no but the quality is still there in the product.

I'm glad you decided to post this because I really wanted to know your thoughts. I agree with you. When I got the blush palette I was very underwhelmed because I was expecting what I thought I saw in the advertisement video on IG. The blushes are beautiful but like the packaging, not what we all have come to love about Pat McGrath products. Can you please do a video and create this same look with other Pat McGrath palettes?

That green is it but I did not pick this up because I am planning to get Mothership III soon and it has a similar green. I think I will get more value from the larger palette for a few dollars more when it’s on sale. Aunty Pat has become way too repetitive and at her price she need to stapp it. I have a beautiful collection of curated makeup so I am really picky about what makes it into my space. Aunty Pat overdoing it now. Kel your look was beautiful 😘

I appreciate your honest review and really agree with you. I didn’t get the eyeshadow palette as I’m tired of the pink colour story too. I waited for the sale and have bought the blush palette and 2 of the lipsticks. I was hoping that the lipsticks would be like the luxetrance formula that I absolutely loved. So, I’m a bit disappointed that the satin allure formula is thinner. I’m in the UK, so I’m waiting for my order to arrive.

I have not watched Bridgerton but I do enjoy period dramas and look forward to watching it soon. I also love Pat McGrath's products but this collection also didn't excite me, for three reasons: 1. At this time I am not a beauty reviewer so I don't need lots of products that I'll never be able to use up. 2. Yes, this collection doesn't look well-made. It looks like the fast-fashion stuff put out by celebrities. 3. When I shop, I want to focus on cruelty-free products. At this time PML is not ❤️‍🩹. That being said, I adore you Miss Jai! I actually passed on the whole collection but it did inspire me to watch both seasons of Bridgerton 😂. I bought the first collaboration and only used it once. Your eye look is beautiful as usual.

I have her entire collection, and the mothership palettes has nothing to do with this mini collaboration that she launches. She needs to let go of those pink and bring her goddess innovation back. Hi Kelsi, I agree with you about the pink(lol). I can’t take it anymore. I love Pat McGrath and will always support sister. I did buy the palatte, the blush and a lipstick. Not my favorite. I will continue to support her brand in the future. I own most of her palattes.

Thanks for your honesty. I love the way you used all 6 colors in one look! My first palette that I purchased was Huetopian Dream. I was going to purchase Divine Rose I and Divine Rose II but the three palettes seem a little redundant...am I wrong? Her site is currently having a great sale on a bundle with both of them for $161. I recently picked up the new Patrick Ta palette and ND Retro palette both with rose color stories...what to do?

Your review is so on point. I live for Mother Pat's products, the quality is everything. Her shipping should be free because it is awful. You don't know when you will receive your products. I did order this collection as well as the 1st Bridgerton collection. My kohl eyeliner was shipped separately...I got it 2 weeks after my other products. I ordered my products at 9:00 am the day they dropped and it still took weeks to receive both collections 😶

What do you think is happening with the shipping?? It seems like she has a reputation for shipping issues…such a contrast to Natasha Denona. I think the stuff that is purely artistically driven - like her Mothership work - is perfection. I guess this is the stuff you skip. Kudos for bringing it with a gorgeous look despite the limitations

You are beyond correct about the shipping issues. Yikes! And, you are also correct that this series lacks originality. I am enjoying the blushes, but I really dislike the packaging. The eye shadow palette is okay, but for the price, I expect much more.

I’m worried about Pats brand. Little by little the experience is becoming less and less luxury. This packaging Terrible. I passed on both collections because I don’t want cardboard from PAT McGrath. Shipping is terrible. I’m almost starting to think the brand might be having financial difficulties. These lipstick components look cheaper that color pop. She stopped putting the gold bottoms on her quads. The size of the pan in the quads got smaller. She didn’t put her gold embossing or the gold bottom on her blushes. Her holiday collections…. Cardboard. Shipping hasn’t been an issue for me but it has for so many. Every highlighter has been in different packaging. No consistency. Now we’ve got an essence that no one asked for 🤦🏿‍♀️😬😆. Where are the bronzers? I skipped both Bridgerton collections. I’m holding my breath for Mothership X. But if that collection is not other worldly or if it pink, I’m moving on. I love mother but it makes me sad and concerned for the longevity of her brand. Quality is never an issue, but overtime that won’t be enough to keep the luxury demographic. I'm vaguely interested in the palette, but only because that green-gold shade is pretty much a dupe for Gigabyte, which is one of two shades that draw me to Mothership 3. When it comes to a local store site here (Netherlands) I'll probably get it, on sale. The rest is really more of the same, which is disappointing. Pinks were fun in DRII (I'm wearing it today) but since then it's repeats and meh. Divine Rose is Pillow Talk - at what point will it be done and on to something more interesting/innovative? Edited to add: I'm done buying from her site, too. Prices for Europe have gone up for the second time in very recent memory and shipping is abysmal. I ordered Mothership 1 in the sale as a last hurrah to the site. (Motherships went from €125 to €135, and now they're €150. Nope. 20% in the last 6 months or so is too much.) I'm done. I'll work with what I can get from Douglas and Selfridge's.

I still can’t get that blue lipstick because it keeps selling out. They are so pretty.

I hear what you say about PR and using your own money to buy a collection, but no You tuber Influencer does eyes like U and nobody does make up look like U and also I agree with only pinks and pinks!!! And the shipping with being late. But I look forward for you creations so why don’t you teach us different looks just show us your creations make up tutoríals can be creating beautiful eyes flawless skin not only brands because their is a big competition out there with. The same type videos . The thing is we want You we like you and we enjoy watching you, your personality is unique and reconsider all of this even becoming a vloger will do I love You not the brand not the pallet only the creation. ❤

I feel exactly like you. I didn’t buy this collection because I really expect something different from Pat everytime she releases new products. We want something more from her. It looks cheap and we’ve had enough of the pink shades. She needs to go back to the artist level scheme.

I thought the highlighter from the first collection was nice, I passed on the first collection. With this collection, I wasn’t moved to purchase anything either. I don’t watch the show so I thought I just didn’t get it.

I didn't get anything - the eye palette looked sooooooooooo boring and I thought the packaging was very similar to Two Faced (or similar). I was very disappointed when I saw the first Bridgerton palette but the second one just passed me off (sorry 🙊). The whole thing felt like a cash grab. I know there's seasons for certain shades but we've had non stop YEARS of pinks from PM. Love ya loads 💗💗💗

I agree with your review! I am not a fan of this collection. It looks so similar to the first palette from this collaboration.

I really hate ordering from Pat's website whenever she launches something. It took me about 2 or 3 weeks to get my package and I absolutely hated the packaging of the blush palette. The highlighter is too glittery and my blushes are already drying out! I hope she never does that packaging again. I normally love everything I get from the brand, but was not impressed this time around.

I am an avid Mother Pat collector and I appreciate her genius. However, this collection is so disappointing. No more pink/mauve PLEASE and fix the delivery issues - inexcusable!

I do not watch the show so the collab just didn’t catch my eye and when it came out, I was leas interested then she released another one, snooze feet! I want the old Pat to return.
