Vaya una vez más Pat Metheny me ha sorprendido con esta nueva versión de Esto no es EEUU, desde que escuche su versión cantada a dúo con David Bowie(RIP) en 1985 y pasando por una super versión que hay de esta misma cancion del 2021 que se llama una pequeña parte de mi(Larguísima por cierto) , hasta esta nueva de este 2023 , yo tenía tan solo 23 años de edad en 1985 , hoy tengo casi 62 en dos meses más y de mi experiencia en la vida puedo decirles que PAT METHENY siempre será de alta calidad en todos y cada uno de sus conceptos musicales, no solo por ser un estadounidense que ha traído involucrado en sus obras cantantes en español, sino porque le ha dedicado su vida y obra a las etnias , antiguos habitantes realmente americanos no solo de EEUU sino también de MEXICO. saludos a todos los aquí presentes desde MEXICO. Gracias por compartir. y que viva muchísimos años más PAT METHENY para darnos esa hermosa música que él sabe hacer.😍😍😍

Good point. The suits could sell Davey, not accomplished musicians such as Pat and Lyle. Their names didn't exactly open the doors in Babylon West in those days. With Davey, HELL! He's singing a piece to the soundtrack of his life (recall the Berlin LODGER days, with Iggy). A friend of wifey's, the late DON CORNELIUS helped Dave through a bumpy recording session for SOUL TRAIN. Dave recalls the incident somewhere that you can Google. Hold your breath and take in the beauty of the music. Don't focus on all the BS someone had to wade through to bring it to you. Ain't that America!
Mr Bowie was a genius... to state otherwise makes you look like a fool. It is funny how Americans always try to take the credit for almost everything and think they are better than eveybody else. Mr Bowie was also an amazing songwriter. What is about Americans that hate anythigng outside of their own country? I still preferred the Bowie version. I don't actually know what annoyed you... as Bowie was a bigger star than PMG, record sales will explain further. One thing that never changes - is American arrogance.
