I just watched my own video, some 14years later and just realised I didn't remember ANYTHING AT ALL HAH! So yeah, it's cringy, it's over edited and it takes forever to get to the point, but ultimately my videos (especially the first two) were just meant to show my friend and my guild, it was never intended to have tens of millions of view over a 20year span, give me a break lol!
you have no idea how famous you were. All the kids in my local town talked about you (specifically the rank 14 pvp video) they still to this day remember you. You are one of the real legends, I am 36 now and cherish the old days where everything was so much simpler. Thank you for the memories Legend!
+soviet937 it wasnt good. Classes was shit. You had people getting invites just to constant be buffing people. Everything took forever to do. If it would have been like this today, alot of people would not be playing. Old school players are all grown up now. Job, family and other duties. The game would belong to lowlifes that did jack shit with their life and streamers.
Emil hasnt even played wow i bet... if he had raided in legion he would know that its actually more nolife to be a raider in legion than it ever was in vanilla. Do you think you can casually farm AP and go to work and schools? no... even my guild which isnt anywhere near world first level had most core raiders logging on every 3 hours to do world quests for the AP, even during the night... i dont know how they survived workdays after that, i couldnt do it. And it was also quite retarded requirements to be competitive in the raiding scene, to be able to compete in dps and not be lowest. So i quit! Vanilla had nothing like this... you NEVER needed to login multiple times a day just so you can stay ontop of the progression curve, you NEVER needed to stay awake all night just so you can raid the next day. PvP grind was a choice not a requirement, we dont have a choice in legion anymore... its forced. Do it or dont do it, your in the game or you are out of it. Old school players had jobs and duties back in vanilla too... its not at all what you think. Most hardcore players were older than kids, because kids didnt have the attention span or interest in doing scheduled raids (or money to play the game let alone have a computer)... also the most busy part of anyones early life is during college, that is when you have to study and work... after that its only work and maybe family. Incase you didnt know college days = 6+ hours a day + work hours + homework. After college: 6+ hours of work and no homework (depending on work ofcourse)... thats it. Which one gives more time to play if you actually have a sleep schedule? the adult life ofcourse... the illusion that vanilla was a nolife grinding basement game came from the fact that people didnt have time to play any other times than during the night, due to busy college schedules... after college everyone has more freetime, including nighttime. Right now in legion if youve read anything what the world first raiders have said... playing and keeping up at that level requires them to literally play 24/7, they need multiple characters at the AP curve aswell as to have legendaries and so on. They literally cannot have jobs... but thats why they are sponsored.
+Mace Levens lol what you clearly didn't play back in season 4 then... Very few people were still bad enough to backpedal/keyboard turn. Especially considering he has s4 wep and shoulders. 100% got carried. Trust me I played warrior back then, this guy isnt skilled enough to have gotten 2200 on any battle group.

Yup, I did. And 2.2k was not high in Season 4. 2.9k was the top rank in season 4, so calm your tits fanboy. Pat was not half as good as you want him to be. Backpaddling lord....
That completely depended on your BG, but noone had 2900 in s4. Get your facts straight, cause even on the best BGs r1s were usually around 2400-2500+ and that was pretty damn high considering the mmr system was not completely abuseable and trash like in later expansions, where teams pushed to 3k in the first week and sat on that rating the whole season, untouchable by anyone cause you couldn't earn MMR.

Just found this "Pat" guy, and WOW, his videos are so well down. Definitely brings back that classic feel. You know, before that guy Swifty ruined warriors for everyone....
No any game play. As glad on S3 with 3 teams (2v2 SP&Rogue; 2v2 SP&Rogue; 3v3 RMP), I can clearly see that there is no gameplay. Like no game play. There is some DMG ok; but there is no gameplay... so no reason to watch this more than 3 minutes.
Vanilla WoW watered down by normalization and super instanced pvp. Gear with more visual effects but that still looks like shit. Path to BFA confirmed. RIP.
Chaos D. Emperor no it wasnt, the editing was incredibly shit compared to a lot of other videos from back then. Just the intro and first av part made me cringe quite hard. Compare it to pat 2... much better on the editing there. Great warr nonetheless
I'm gonna guess he probably tried to edit it differently because he's using Season 4 gear, at this point in TBC people had already seen hundreds of warrior PvP videos and they were getting fucking bored of watching the same shit.
