@@musahsadickabubakar3632 Joe Szilagy. I used to play in a band with a singer with the same last name as yours. He was Tarig Abubakar. Our band have some songs here on RU-vid, if you look up: 'Tarig Abubakar and the AfroNubians'.
Check out newer acts like Saltpond City Band, K.O.G (Kweku of Ghana), Roy x Taylor... Legends like Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas and Gyedu-Blay Ambolley are still active too and released great albums in recent years. Highlife music is eternal! 🙂
Money's is not the root of evil but rather the love for money, as a matter of facts money plays an enormous role in our daily lives, Financial freedom my only hope, fuck living reach and dying broke, Sika y3 mogya
The translation into English is too vernacular; rather, in the context of the song, it should be along the lines of Money Awakens Life or Money Enlivens Souls.
@@acswellness "Sika yɛ mogya" translates directly as "Money is blood", but then the song is about how money makes life in general worth living. "Sika frɛ mogya" on other hand translates directly as "Money calls for blood" which may connote how the quest for money or wealth lead people to commit certain atrocities.
